During a recent episode of her ABC talk show “The View,” co-host Joy Behar made a shocking admission about her underwear that absolutely nobody was asking for.
Behar’s Underwear Admission
It all started when moderator Whoopi Goldberg introduced a segment that she described as “the great underwear debate,” with her co-hosts then talking about how much underwear they pack for trips.
“I pack like I might pee my pants twice a day on a trip,” co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said, with Sunny Hostin agreeing, “Anything can happen! If I’m traveling 14 days, I’ve got 16 pairs of underwear.”
Hostin then asked Behar to share her “different way of packing.”
“I throw them away as I go along,” Behar shockingly admitted. “I bring old underwear and after I wear it, I throw it out.”
“Crappy stuff on vacation? You’re definitely not going to get laid,” her co-host Sara Haines responded, to which Behar replied, “I’m not looking to have sex!”
“She’s married!” an incredulous Goldberg explained.
“Don’t you want to have sex with Steve on a vacation?!” Haines asked, referring to Behar’s husband Steve Janowitz, who she’s been married to for twelve years.
“She doesn’t need underwear to do that!” Goldberg fired back, causing the entire panel to burst out laughing.
Behar then elaborated about her “high-waisted bloomers,” which she said go right “out the window” after she wears them once.
“I don’t want to bring dirty laundry back,” she concluded. “Where am I supposed to do my laundry?”

Behar’s Romantic History
Behar has been married to Janowitz since 2011, but she dated him for 29 years before that. She was previously married to the late Joseph Behar, who was the father of her only child, from 1965 until they divorced in 1981.
“I waited until all the parents were dead,” Behar once said of why she waited so long to marry Janowitz, according to Closer Weekly.
“So I have no in-laws at all. He has none and I have none,” she added. “‘Cause marriage is mostly about in-laws, I find. They always want you to visit them and come for lasagna.”

Behar Has ‘No Plan To Retire’
Behar was one of the original hosts of “The View” when it premiered back in 1997, and though she was fired in 2013, she was brought back two years later and has remained on the show ever since. She celebrated her 81st birthday in October of last year, but despite this, she has “no plans” to retire.
“I just signed a contract so I’ll be here for a while,” Behar told People Magazine around the time of her birthday. “I have no plans to retire.”
“It’s really, you know, something that is an important show in many ways,” she went on to say of the ABC talk show. “Sometimes I don’t believe that, as I’ve been here since the beginning, but we’re the most-watched show in daytime. Most-watched! I’m happy to be a part of it. So no, I’m not going anywhere. I’m having a good time.”

It seems that as she gets older, Behar is only getting more candid about her personal life, much to the dismay of the rest of us. Here’s hoping that she learns to keep some things to herself in the future, because nobody wants to hear about her underwear habits!
