Joy Behar, 80, Says She Wants ‘Foreplay’ As She Reveals Her ‘Objection To Porn Films’

Days after she gave some sex tips that nobody asked for, “The View” co-host Joy Behar, 80, revealed that her main “objection to porn films” is that she wants “foreplay.”

Behar’s ‘Objection To Porn Films’

Decider reported that Behar revealed this during a segment in which she and her co-hosts discussed one writer’s opinion that sex scenes are “dead.”

“I don’t know what movies this writer’s watching,” Behar immediately stated. “‘Bridgerton’ has more sex scenes than The Devil in Miss Jones.”

Behar later added that you had to “use your imagination” in older movies, to which her co-host Sunny Hostin responded, “I want you to show me. I don’t want to use my imagination. I want to see the Duke. I want to see Regé-[Jean Page]. I want to burn for him the way he is burning for her. I want to see everything.”

That’s when Behar got graphic as she discussed her “objection to porn films.”

“They’re like gynecological testing grounds,” she said. “We want foreplay, we want music, we want warm-up. A woman needs to be loved.”

Hostin, who is clearly a huge fan of “Bridgerton,” proceeded to try and convince Behar to watch the show.

“This was from the female gaze. So all that massaging and stuff that was needed, it was there. And that’s why I think I found it, in particular, so sexy,” she said, to which Behar replied, “I have too many Swedish movies with missing body parts to watch.”

“You want men to learn from movies,” Behar concluded. “Look up the word foreplay, guys.”

Behar’s Romantic History

Behar has been married to her husband Steve Janowitz since 2011, but they have actually been together since 1982. Prior to that, she was married to Joseph Behar from 1965 until they divorced in 1981.

“I waited until all the parents were dead,” Behar once said of why she waited so long to marry Janowitz, according to Closer Weekly. “So I have no in-laws at all. He has none and I have none. ‘Cause marriage is mostly about in-laws, I find. They always want you to visit them and come for lasagna.”

Behar revealed on one episode of “The View” that she met Janowitz at a nudist colony, according to The Sun.

“He was all the way on the other side of this place — and it was like an adult place,” she said. “He was far away naked. And then at night, there was a movie playing, and then I saw him fully dressed.”

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
