Ever since Tom Brady’s NFL season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers came to an end last week, many have been wondering whether he’ll retire or decide to play another season of professional football.
On the latest episode of his podcast, Brady, 45, indicated that these retirement questions are getting to him when he lost his temper and started dropping f-bombs as soon as he was asked about the potential end of his career.
During Monday’s episode of the “Let’s Go!” podcast, Brady was asked by interviewer Jim Gray if he has any idea when he’ll decide about retirement.
“Jim, if I knew what I was gonna f***ing do, I’d have already f***ing done it,” Brady fired back. “OK? I’m taking it a day at a time.”
Gray tried to defend himself by arguing that this was the “only the question everybody wants to hear.”
“I appreciate your asking,” Brady replied. “Thank you.”

Yahoo News reported that after this meltdown, an awkward pause ensued between Brady and Gray, who eventually tried to move the conversation forward by asking the quarterback about the NFL fining him $16,444 for tripping Dallas Cowboys safety Malik Hooker during the last game the Buccaneers played. Check out that moment for yourself below.
Unfortunately for Gray, however, Brady quickly made it clear that this was also a touchy subject for him.
“I tried to tackle him with my right shoulder and missed him,” Brady said. “And I wasn’t gonna try to stick my arm out. I was trying to get him on the ground. I missed him completely. I didn’t even hit him.
“I tried to trip him, but I didn’t. I don’t know how you can get fined for something that didn’t even happen,” he continued. “Are they fining an intention? It’s like targeting, and you miss the person you hit, and they still call it targeting. I’ve gotta figure out and understand why this is the case. It’s a little odd. This is why I wish our NFLPA was stronger.”
Brady briefly retired one year ago, only to change his mind a few weeks later, when he decided to play another season as quarterback with the Buccaneers. This may have led in part to his divorce from the supermodel Gisele Bündchen in October after 13 years of marriage, as she was long rumored to not be happy about his decision to un-retire.

Other players with the Buccaneers have said that they don’t expect Brady to play with their team again next season, with one saying he would “be surprised if he’s back.”
“He sounded like a person saying goodbye for good,” another player added, according to CBS Sports.
This was a reference to the comments Brady made during his press conference after his team’s loss to the Cowboys, when it sounded to many like he was saying goodbye to the Buccaneers.
“I love this organization, it’s a great place to be,” Brady said. “Thank you everybody for welcoming me. All you regulars, I’m just very grateful for the respect, and I hope I gave the same thing back to you guys. So, thank you very much.”
It remains to be seen if Brady will retire, play with the Buccaneers again, or choose to sign with a different NFL team entirely. Judging by his latest reaction to retirement questioning, however, it seems that Brady has had it up to here with being asked about his future.
