Last month, we reported that the British television personality Sharon Osbourne had been rushed to the hospital after suffering a mysterious “medical emergency” on the set of a television show. Now, the 70 year-old wife of the Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne is finally revealing the details behind what led to her hospitalization.

Sharon Opens Up About ‘Medical Emergency’

Daily Mail reported that during the episode of “Talk TV” that aired last night, Sharon shockingly revealed that she was working on a TV set in California last month when she suddenly fainted, and she was unconscious for 20 minutes before she was rushed to the hospital. She then spent the next two days undergoing multiple tests at two different hospitals because doctors could not figure out what caused her to pass out.

When asked to explain what happened to her, Sharon replied, “I wish I could but I can’t. It was the weirdest thing – I was doing some filming and suddenly they tell me that I felt…”

“Passed out?” asked co-host JJ Anisiobi, to which Sharon responded, “Yeah, for 20 minutes. I was in hospital. I went to one hospital, they took me to another hospital and I did every test over two days and nobody knows why.”

Sharon went on to confirm that doctors still do not know what caused her to faint.

“So happy to be back @thetalkuk!” Sharon wrote in the caption as she shared the clip of her discussing this to Instagram. “We chatted briefly about my holiday trip to the hospital. Although it’s still a mystery I’m feeling fantastic and ready to get talking!”

Sharon’s Collapse

Sharon was filming an episode of the paranormal television show “Night Of Terror” with her son Jack when she collapsed last month.

“OK here’s what I’ll say – first things first MY MOTHER WASN’T FILMING AN EPISODE OF @GHOSTADVENTURES. She was filming a new episode of ‘Night Terror’ with me hahaha,” Jack said at the time, according to Entertainment Tonight. “Now that we have made that clear…she has been given the all clear from her medical team and is now home.”

“Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support,” he added. “As to what happened to my mum – I’m gonna leave to her to share about when she is ready.”

Sharon’s Past Health Struggles

Entertainment Weekly reported that Sharon has been open about the various health struggles that she’s been hit with over the years. She announced that she had colon cancer back in 2002, and she was able to recover after undergoing both a surgery and three months of chemotherapy.

Sharon later had to have a double mastectomy a decade later in 2012 after she learned that she was genetically predisposed to get breast cancer.

“As soon as I found out I had the breast cancer gene, I thought, ‘The odds are not in my favor’,” Sharon said at the time, according to ABC News. “I’ve had cancer before and I didn’t want to live under that cloud. I decided to just take everything off, and had a double mastectomy.”

“For me, it wasn’t a big decision, it was a no-brainer,” she continueded. “I didn’t want to live the rest of my life with that shadow hanging over me.”

We can only hope that there was not a more serious reason behind Sharon’s recent medical emergency, and we pray that she only has good health as she goes into 2023!
