Meghan Markle Desperate To Keep Royal Titles After Having ‘Dramatic Change Of Heart’

A royal expert is speaking out this week to claim that Meghan Markle has had a “dramatic change of heart regarding titles.” This is in contrast to what she told Oprah Winfrey last year, when she said that royal titles are not important to her.

Meghan Changes Her Mind

After claiming that titles didn’t matter to her, Meghan has since changed her mind and decided that she wants her entire family to have royal titles. 

“Harry and Meghan are very, very keen to cling onto those royal titles,” royal expert Neil Sean told The Daily Express. “After much deliberation, Meghan decided that the titles would be a good thing, not just for her, but for both her children, too.”

Meghan reportedly had this change of heart after becoming close to her husband Prince Harry’s cousins, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

“Meghan became very friendly with senior members of the monarchy, predominantly Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice,” Sean explained. “After this, Meghan realized how useful a title can be, particularly when you want to move in the correct circles. That is the reason why they want to clutch hold of titles.”

Meghan’s Comments To Oprah

Meghan had told Oprah last year that the title of “mom” is the only one that matters to her.

“All the grandeur surrounding this stuff is an attachment I don’t personally have,” she said at the time. “I’ve been a waitress, an actress, a princess, a duchess—I’ve always still just been Meghan, right? I’ve been clear on who I am, independent of all that stuff, and the most important title I’ll ever have is mom. I know that.”

However, Sean is claiming that Meghan has since changed her tune on this in a big way.

“It’s really down to the fact that, after befriending Beatrice and Eugenie, she saw how useful those titles are to them,” he said.

Will Meghan And Harry’s Children Get Royal Titles?

Yahoo News reported that it is not yet known whether or not Meghan and Harry’s two young children will be given royal titles. Sources have said that King Charles is waiting until after the release of Harry’s upcoming bombshell memoir “Spare” to make this decision, as he wants to see just how much his son bashes the royal family in it first. 

“Charles has made various threats to Meghan and Harry and warned them that if they go ahead, they will find themselves ostracized in a way they cannot believe. And so they are worried,” said royal author Tom Bower. 

“I do not think their children will get titles if they go ahead and slander the royal family,” he added. “But they have also got to consider their own titles, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, could be taken away by Charles if they misbehave.”‘

Since stepping down as senior royals back in 2020, Meghan and Harry have been bashing the royal family seemingly every chance they get. For this reason, it would be hard to blame the King if he decides to fire bay at them by refusing to give their children royal titles.

If Meghan wanted her children to have royal titles so badly, perhaps she should have thought twice before she constantly trashed the British royal family. She made her bed, and now she may have to lay in it.
