FTR has called out Tony Khan for not being booked in matches as of late. Also, did AEW contact Candice LeRae before she returned to WWE?

FTR Calls Out Tony Khan

FTR (formally The Revival) were not happy during their time in WWE. They were a great tag team in NXT, but that changed on the main roster.

They did win gold, although WWE seemingly treated them like a comedy act. So, they requested their release from WWE.

Well, WWE did not want to budge and declined. Again, over the course of several months, FTR continued with the same request.

WWE even offered the two more money to stay put. Eventually, WWE let FTR out of their contracts.

They would join AEW during the pandemic. Even though little to no fans were present, their arrival felt special.

Now, there seems to be trouble brewing. FTR retained their IWGP Tag Team Titles against Aussie Open during Night One of NJPW Royal Quest II.

After the bell, Dax Harwood sent a direct message to AEW’s Tony Khan, Basically, he demanded Khan book them in a match.

As seen in the video, Harwood made his point very clear.

“First things first, Tony Khan, we still work for you,” said Hardwood. “Book us, brother.”

Currently, they are Tag Champions in ROH, AAA  and the IWGP. They were AEW Tag Team Champions too, but dropped those belts.

The past two months have seen little action from FTR, despite not being injured. They won at All Out on September 4 and had only match in August.

There have been reports that WWE is reaching out to former talent. Triple H likes FTR and some believe they would rejoin WWE since the landscape as dramatically changed.

Candice LeRae was part of NXT for years. She stepped away for about a year as she was expecting her first child alongside Johnny Gargano.

In a surprise move, WWE did not freeze he contract for the time away. Instead, they let her deal expire and she was free to sign anywhere.

In another shocking moment, she debuted on the main roster during the September 26 edition of RAW. In quick fashion, she defeated Nikki A.S.H.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that AEW made a push to sign LeRae while she was a free agent. As of now, we are not sure how far along both sides came to making an agreement.

Instead, Triple H gained tons of power in WWE with Vince McMahon out of the picture. He brought back Gargano and LeRae was not far behind.

After LeRae’s return, she was spotted backstage talking with Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss and Asuka. They were confronted by Damage CTRL, which likely leads to a WarGames Match a Survivor Series in November.
