Undertaker Set For 2022 WWE Hall Of Fame

For a long time, everyone knew the Undertaker would join the WWE Hall of Fame. Now, we know when that moment is happening.

WWE confirmed today that the Undertaker will be the first superstars inducted into the 2022 class. As of now, no other names have been announced or who would inducted him.

Statement From WWE About Undertaker Joining WWE Hall Of Fame

“WWE (NYSE: WWE) today announced that The Undertaker will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at a ceremony on Friday, April 1 at American Airlines Center in Dallas as part of WrestleMania® Week. The event will stream live exclusively on Peacock in the U.S. and WWE Network everywhere else.

The Undertaker is one of the most popular Superstars in WWE history and a pop culture icon. After making his WWE debut at the 1990 Survivor Series® ,“The Phenom” went on to hold nearly every major Championship in WWE and has competed in some of the most memorable matches in history over his illustrious 30-year career.

In addition, The Undertaker amassed a historic consecutive 21-year WrestleMania undefeated streak that may never be broken. In 2020, The Undertaker was featured in the WWE Network docuseries “Undertaker: The Last Ride.” It praised by both fans and critics and made his “Final Farewell” at Survivor Series.

Undertaker And His Legendary WWE Career

When it comes to accomplishments, few have come close to Undertaker. Basically, he has done everything seemingly possible in WWE.

He never left Vince McMahon’ side, even during the days WCW nearly put WWE out of business. His loyalty is a trait Vince never forgot and he also took take of the veteran.

The greatest feat by Undertaker will be going 21-0 at WrestleMania, which will never be duplicated. Then, he lost a few to drop the record to 23-2.

In the end, Undertaker wrestled his final match at WrestleMania 36. In a cinematic match, Undertaker defeated AJ Styles.

And, it is fitting he enters the WWE Hall of Fame in Texas. Besides WWE, it is the other place he calls home.

Congratulations to Johnny Gargano and Candice LeRae on the birth of baby boy, Quill. The couple sent out the following picture.

For those of wondering about the name, it is a reference to the Guardians Of The Galaxy franchise. And, Gargano and LeRae are huge fans of superheroes.

Gargano is currently a free agent after not re-signing with WWE. He could return down the road now that his son is born.

Still, he probably wants to spend time with his first child. Also, LeRae would love the help raising the young man.

As for LeRae, she is still under contract to the NXT brand. There is no return date and also no word if WWE will add time to the contract since she was off TV.

From everyone at Wrestle Newz, congratulations to the happy couple and their newest addition.
