Candace Cameron Bure of “Full House” and “Fuller House” fame has long been known as one of the few openly conservative and Christian actresses in Hollywood. Now, the 46 year-old star has announced that she’s launching a new podcast that will focus on faith and family.

Cameron Bure Announces Podcast

“I’ve been interviewed a whole lot in my 40 plus years on television,” Cameron Bure told Variety. “I thought it was time to have in-depth conversations about things I really care about — and have lots of fun at the same time!”

“The Candace Cameron Bure Podcast” is set to debut on November 1 through Candy Rock Enterprises, with each episode featuring one guest talking to Cameron Bure about one specific topic. Some of the topics that will be covered by this podcast include parenting, marriage, personal growth, healthy living, faith and Christmas.

Cameron Bure is hoping that this podcast will “offer listeners guidance and inspiration for all seasons of life.” You will be able to consume this podcast on AccessMore podcast network and on YouTube, starting next month!

Cameron Bure’s Deal With Great American Family

This is just the latest in a long line of business ventures for Cameron Bure, who inked a deal with Great American Family earlier this year to make wholesome content for the network. Her first project is a Christmas movie called “A Christmas… Present,” and it’s set to premiere next month on November 27. She also produced “Christmas on Candy Cane Lane,” which will debut days later on December 3.

“I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit, even as a teenager,” she recently said. “I knew that I loved the entertainment industry and I did love acting, but I always felt like I wanted more.”

“I didn’t just want to be an actor, which is a great thing,” she added. “I wanted more, so I was always positioning myself and trying to learn, as a young adult, what else I could do — the other aspects of the industry like producing or directing. I’ve loved watching people grow. I love seeing other entrepreneurs pursue their dreams.”

Cameron Bure’s Faith

Cameron Bure has long been open about her strong Christian faith.

“My faith is really the foundation of who I am,” she told Fox News over the summer. “It’s so important to me, and it’s always a part of me, whether it’s at home and privately, or when I’m reading the Bible in Bible study. But also at work, and the choices I make within work, and the companies I choose to work with and the projects that I choose to take on.”

Cameron Bure went on to encourage her fans to read the Bible.

“The Bible to me is truth,” Cameron Bure continued. “I can always go back to the word of God and find the hope, the encouragement, the positivity, the trust that I know I have in Jesus. And so it never fails, even when life doesn’t go the way I want it to or had planned it to. I know that God’s in control of everything.

“I live by faith in everything, in everything that I do, and every aspect of my life,” she added. “So it’s not just something that I rely on or is a crutch. I mean, it is genuinely who I am. How it helps me? It’s hard to say because it’s just a part of my being.”

Cameron Bure’s Family

Aside from her faith, family is the most important thing in Cameron Bure’s life. She’s been married to her former professional hockey player husband Valeri Bure for 26 years, and they have three children together who are all now adults. In a 2016 interview with Fox 411, Cameron Bure opened up about how her faith impacts her marriage.

“I can go back to the Bible, and the Bible says, ‘Wives, respect your husbands, and husbands love your wives.’ There’s a difference between men and women,” Cameron Bure said at the time.

“I know my husband doesn’t need the type of love I require that is much more caring and sensitive in nature, like, ‘Oh, honey you look wonderful,'” she explained. “It’s like my husband doesn’t need to hear that on a daily basis like I do. But he needs to be respected. I like that my husband is a leader, he’s a man’s man. I want him to lead our family.”

Cameron Bure is a rarity in Hollywood, as there sadly aren’t many celebrities who are as open about being conservative Christians as she is. We can’t wait to see her continue to spread the values of Christianity and family through her podcast!
