Candace Cameron Bure is getting ready to make her Great American Media debut with a new Christmas movie that is set to come out this November!

Cameron Bure’s New Movie

People Magazine reported that “A Christmas … Present” — which Cameron Bure both starred in and executive produced — is the actress’s first movie with her new network after leaving Hallmark back in April.

In the film, Cameron Bure portrays real estate agent Maggie Larson, who Great American Media describes as “an overly scheduled real estate agent and Type-A mom who takes her family to spend Christmas with her widowed brother and his daughter.”

“Maggie and her brother have decidedly different expectations for the holiday,” the synopsis further details. “Through a series of transformative events, Maggie learns to embrace the reason for the season.”

Cameron Bure Speaks Out

Cameron Bure, 46, seems very excited for the world to see the movie!

“‘A Christmas … Present’ is about slowing down enough to recognize what’s right in front of our eyes,” the actress said. “The hustle and bustle of the Christmas season will arrive before we know it but it’s through the quiet moments that we hear God speak to us, directing our path to what’s most important.”

Cameron Bure’s production company Candy Rock Entertainment is both producing and developing the upcoming Christmas film. “A Christmas … Present” is her first project as part of a deal to develop, produce, and star in shows and movies for the Great American Family and Great American Living channels.

President & CEO of Great AmericanMedia Bill Abbott said, “I am thrilled to be kicking off our partnership with a must-see film like ‘A Christmas…Present,'” which will delight our fans this holiday season and is indicative of the memorable movies and family-friendly entertainment that Great American Media is looking forward to creating with Candace and the Candy Rock team.”

From October 21st through the end of the year, “A Christmas … Present” is part of the network’s Great American Christmas holiday programming, which will see new original Christmas movies debut every Saturday and Sunday.

Cameron Bure’s Shocking Hallmark Exit

Cameron Bure shocked everyone earlier this year when she left Hallmark to join Great American Family.

“I’m very excited to develop heartwarming family and faith-filled programming and make the kind of stories my family and I love to watch,” Cameron Bure said at the time, according to US Magazine. “GAC fits my brand perfectly; we share a vision of creating compelling wholesome content for an audience who wants to watch programming for and with the whole family.”

“Great, quality entertainment with a positive message is what my partnership with GAC is all about!” she added.

Today reported that Cameron Bure had been with Hallmark for fourteen years, starring in many family-friendly movies and shows for the network.

“Crown Media has enjoyed over 10 years of collaboration with Candace. We respect her decision and thank her for her many contributions,” said a spokesperson for Crown Media, which owns the Hallmark Channel.

Cameron Bure’s Frustration

Last year, Cameron Bure admitted she gets frustrated when people don’t seem to understand just how hard she works on her Hallmark projects.

“I get that all the time: ‘How hard is it to be in a Hallmark movie? Can I be in a Hallmark movie?’ And I’m like, ‘Are you a professional actor? No? Then no, you cannot,’”she said while appearing on “The Paula Faris Podcast.”

Cameron Bure has long been known for being one of the few openly conservative Christian actresses in Hollywood. While she’ll be missed over at the Hallmark Channel, we’re glad to see that she is still devoting her time to wholesome projects that the whole family can enjoy together!
