The 21 year-old TikTok star Addison Rae has found herself in hot water this week after she wore a “blasphemous” religious-themed bikini in an Instagram photo.
‘Blasphemous’ Bikini
Fox News reported that it all started on Tuesday, when Rae posted a photo to Instagram in which she wore a “Holy Trinity Bikini,” from the brand Praying, created in collaboration with Adidas. In the image, which has since been deleted, Rae can be seen wearing the $100 white swimsuit with a religious message, as the words “father” and “son” are depicted on each of her breasts.
Making matters even worse is the fact that the Praying website states that the swimsuit bottoms read “Holy Spirit.”

Social Media Users Slam Rae
Social media users immediately fired back at Rae by telling her that her swimsuit was “disrespectful” and blasphemous.
“Nah this disrespectful to Jesus. Sad what y’all do for money,” one user wrote, with another adding, “This is not okay! BLASPHEMY!”
“Is nobody gonna talk about this disrespecting religions,” a third commenter wrote, with a fourth saying that the bikini is “so messed up.”
Though Rae has deleted the post, social media users are still so upset over the bikini that they have taken to commenting on her other photos demanding that she apologize for it. Despite this, she has yet to address the photo to her 40.1 million followers on Instagram, and 88.5 million fans on TikTok.
This comes days after the singer Christina Aguilera posed in the French version of this same bikini, with hers having the words “Père,” “Fils” and “Esprit Saint” printed on it. She wore the bikini in a video posted to Instagram that she captioned: “A religious experience.” Aguilera seems to have gotten away with wearing the bikini, however, as she does not seem to be getting the backlash that Rae has gotten.

Rae’s Father’s Affair
It’s been a rough couple of weeks for Rae, as her 46 year-old father Monty Lopez was recently accused of having a five-month affair with a 25-year-old woman named Renée Ash, who told Page Six that he had led her to believe that their affair was more meaningful than it really was.
“Unfortunately, he misled me on his marriage, he lied to me,” she said, alleging that Lopez told her his marriage to wife Sheri Nicole Easterling was over when it really wasn’t.
“He told me that we were going to be together and have babies together,” she continues. “He even introduced me to his mom, his youngest brother and I thought we had something real. He told me a story of his marriage that convinced me that they were apart and in the process of getting a divorce.”

Rae And Her Mom ‘Don’t Deserve This’
Ash went on to say that she felt it was important to go public with her story so that other women don’t end up in the same situation.
“This has been going on in LA for too long and I just want to be the girl who is brave enough to tell the truth,” she explained. “Addison and Sheri don’t deserve this and neither do the other girls he’s disrespected. I hope telling my story sheds light on a man who has gotten away with their power in the industry for too long.”
Rae clearly has quite a lot on her plate right now, so this is the last time that she should be disrespecting God. Here’s hoping that she makes amends by apologizing publicly for wearing that blasphemous bikini.
