It’s been six months since the legendary former “Full House” star Bob Saget died suddenly in a Florida hotel room at the age of 65, but he is still missed by millions of fans to this day.

In the months since Saget’s death, his 43 year-old widow Kelly Rizzo has been open about her grieving process for him. Now, she’s revealing what her relationship is like today with Saget’s three daughters from a previous marriage: Aubrey, Laura and Jennifer.

‘We Love Each Other’

Entertainment Tonight reported that Rizzo was recently doing a Q&A on her Instagram Story when she was asked, “do you and bob’s girls get along and still talk? He was the best.”

“I’d call it more than getting along, we love each other very, very much and talk or text every day,” Rizzo replied. “We’re just so, so grateful to be as close as we are because that’s not always the case with step-families.”

Saget was found dead in his hotel room at the Ritz Carlton in Orlando, Florida on January 9, with authorities saying that he died of head trauma after “he accidentally hit the back of his head.” Rizzo recently became emotional while accepting the Impact Award during the Fourth Annual Critics Choice Real TV Awards on his behalf.

‘It’s So Surreal’

“Bob’s incredible daughters and I are so honored to be able to accept this on Bob’s behalf,” she said. “And this is very bittersweet because this is just still… It’s so surreal.”

“You watch that, and you look at him, and you’re like, ‘Bob was larger than life,'” Rizzo continued. “He was so full of life. He was a force of nature. And you watch that, and you’re like, ‘How is he not the one that’s on the stage right now?’ It still doesn’t make sense. It still doesn’t really compute.”

Rizzo’s Emotional Tribute To Saget On Netflix

Rizzo also became emotional onstage last month while honoring Saget in the Netflix special “Dirty Daddy: The Bob Saget Tribute,” which was filmed at the famed Comedy Store in West Hollywood, a place that meant a lot to Saget.

“He loved being a part of this. The most important thing to him was belonging to this club, to this group, to being a comedian,” she said, according to Entertainment Tonight. “He just loved funny people and he loved being around them. He loved everything about it and I know he would be so honored right now. He would love this. I know he’s looking down and he’s so happy.”

Rizzo went on to say that she’s “so grateful for all of you who have always shown up for him and supported him, most importantly, made him laugh.”

‘Bob Deserved All The Love In The World’

As she came to the end of her tribute, Rizzo noticeably began to choke up.

“And I loved him all these years, because Bob deserved all the love in the world,” Rizzo said. “And I loved him more than anything, so thank you all very much.”
