Sharon Osbourne Says Prince Harry ‘Must Regret What He Did’

Last week, we reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were brutally booed as they entered and left St. Paul’s Cathedral in London during celebrations for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee.

Now, the British television personality Sharon Osbourne is speaking out to say that Harry “must regret what he did” in leaving the royal family in the wake of these boos.

Osbourne Sounds Off On Harry

“The Royal Family has always been like a Shakespearean play for me,” Osbourne said, according to Daily Mail. “I have to tell you when I saw them earlier on – I felt sorry for them. And the way that they were parted from the family.”

“I do feel sorry for him [Prince Harry] because I think that there must be a huge part of him that regrets,” she added, referring to how Meghan and Harry stepped down as senior royals back in 2020. They then moved across the world to Meghan’s home state of California, where they have since bashed the royal family repeatedly in interviews.

“I mean, can you imagine how he felt yesterday with the whole family in that procession and he would have normally been there on one of those horses with his uniform and everything,” Osbourne continued.

Harry And Meghan Snubbed

Harry and Meghan were not invited to stand on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with the rest of the royal family to watch the Trooping of the Color procession. Meanwhile, Harry’s older brother Prince William stood on the balcony with his wife Kate Middleton and their three children.

Osbourne said that while watching this, Harry must have been thinking, “My children are not going to grow up with their cousins. It’s got to have an effect on you when they don’t have any cousins, aunts, uncles.”

Page Six reported that Harry and Meghan left the United Kingdom with their two young children Archie and Lilibet before the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations came to an end on Sunday. They reportedly left England on a private jet on Sunday at 1:30 pm, missing the Platinum Jubilee Pageant that brought the celebrations to a close.

Queen’s Platinum Jubilee

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee was meant to celebrate her record-breaking seventy years on the British throne. The 96-year-old Queen, unfortunately, had to sit out of some of the events, however, due to mobility issues.

“Yes, she [the Queen] was fine, it was just very tiring yesterday,” Kate said the day after the Trooping of the Colour, according to PA, adding that the monarch “had had a lovely, lovely time.”

It would certainly be interesting to know if Harry has some regrets about what he’s done to his own family members. Perhaps Osbourne is right that this all hit home for him when he was booed by his own subjects.
