Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Booed At Platinum Jubilee Service

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were humiliated on Friday when they were booed as they both entered and left St. Paul’s Cathedral for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee Thanksgiving service.

Page Six reported that during the service, Meghan and Harry were seated far away from Prince William and Kate Middleton. They instead sat with Harry’s cousins Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice and their respective husbands, Jack Brooksbank and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

Palace insiders have said that Harry and William, who are engaged in a long-standing feud, have no plans to interact during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, which is meant to celebrate her record-breaking 70 years on the British throne.

“At the moment, it does not look likely that Harry and Meghan and William and Kate will meet up separately during the Jubilee celebrations,” said one source. “There is certainly nothing in the diary at the moment.”

Queen Misses Service 

The Queen was unfortunately forced to miss today’s service after experiencing “discomfort” during the parade that was held in her honor yesterday. 

“The Queen greatly enjoyed today’s Birthday Parade and Flypast but did experience some discomfort,” Buckingham Palace said in a statement released Thursday night. 

“Taking into account the journey and activity required participate in tomorrow’s National Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedral, Her Majesty with great reluctance has concluded that she will not attend,” the palace added. “The Queen is looking forward to participating in tonight’s Beacon lighting event at Windsor Castle and would like to thank all those who made today such a memorable occasion.”

Meghan And Harry’s Unpopularity In The United Kingdom

Heading into the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, Meghan and Harry were more unpopular than ever in the United Kingdom. Newsweek reported last month that just 26% of British people viewed Meghan positively, while 47% viewed her negatively. Harry did not fair much better than his wife, with only 37% of British subjects viewing him favorably and 36% viewing him unfavorably. 

Much of Meghan and Harry’s unpopularity in the United Kingdom likely stems from how much they have bashed the royal family since they stepped down as senior royals back in 2020. Since then, they have publicly accused the royal family of racism and insensitivity towards mental health struggles, among other things.

Consequently, Meghan and Harry were banned from standing with the rest of the royal family on the balcony of Buckingham Palace during yesterday’s parade. The British television personality Piers Morgan told Fox News that this was “because they’re not deemed to be working royals in the sense of doing any work for duty. They do it all for money from Netflix, so they’ve been shoved out the back, that sort of little outhouse at the back of the palace.”

“Well, they’ll be watching what we’re watching probably on TV like we are,” he added. “So it’s quite a lot going on here, where there are various high-profile members of the royal family who are not getting the same air time they normally would have.”

Perhaps Meghan and Harry should have thought about all of this before they ever disrespected the Queen by bashing the royal family in the first place.
