Jennifer Lopez ‘Stressing Out’ About Ben Affleck’s Attitude About Wedding

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are currently engaged for the second time in twenty years, but insiders are saying that there may be trouble in paradise for the two stars.

Lopez ‘Stressing Out’ Over Affleck’s Attitude 

The Mirror reported that one source claimed that Lopez is “stressing out” over Affleck’s laid back attitude towards their wedding.

While Lopez is busy working on an “intimate but elaborate” ceremony, Affleck is allegedly reluctant to get involved in the wedding planning, which has left her frustrated. In fact, the insider said that Affleck is in no rush to get married, and that he would be happy to wait until next year to have the wedding.

“They are still very much together and planning their long term future, but Ben is very much dragging his heels when it comes to organizing the wedding – and it’s stressing Jen out,” the source said. “It seems Ben is happy to wait until next year to get married. He and his team have told people it’s going to be a fairly long engagement and they’re happy just doing their thing without any stress.”

“But that’s not really what Jen wants after what happened last time,” the insider continued. She can’t help worrying about the wedding being called off last minute.”

Lopez And Affleck’s 2003 Split

Lopez and Affleck were initially set to get married in September of 2003, but they cancelled the wedding just a few days before it was set to take place. 

“Due to the excessive media attention surrounding our wedding, we have decided to postpone the date,” they said in a statement at the time. “When we found ourselves seriously contemplating hiring three separate ‘decoy brides’ at three different locations, we realized that something was awry.”

“We began to feel that the spirit of what should have been the happiest day of our lives could be compromised,” they added. “We felt what should have been a joyful and sacred day could be spoiled for us, our families and our friends.”

Lopez And Affleck Marry Other People 

Lopez would go on to marry the singer Marc Antony months later, staying with him for ten years and having twins with him before they split in 2014. Meanwhile, Affleck married actress Jennifer Garner in 2005, having three children with her before they divorced in 2018. 

Affleck and Lopez have since reunited, and he proposed to her last month while she was in a bubble bath. Fans everywhere are rooting for them to make it down the aisle this time, so here’s hoping they actually do that!
