Lacey Evans has been absent from WWE television since she announced her real-life pregnancy on the February 15th edition of Monday Night RAW. She and her husband welcomed their second daughter this past October. So, when can fans expect her to return?

Lacey Evans WWE Return Plans

Last fans show Lacey Evans, she was romantically linked in a storyline to Ric Flair, feuding with his daughter Charlotte, before she headed out on maternity leave. What’s in store for the blonde beauty and when is her comeback set?

As per a report from PW Insider’s Mike Johnson, viewers should expect to see Lacey Evans in that squared circle very soon. In fact, she’s set to appear on this Friday’s SmackDown, taking place in Milwaukee.

Lacey Evans WWE Return + Her History

It’ll be interesting to see Lacey’s storyline when she returns. While she has yet to hold any gold in the WWE, Evans has made a significant impact in the women’s division during her tenure.

Lacey signed a WWE contract in the spring of 2016. She made her debut in the ring at a house show in the fall of that year, and three months later officially made an appearance on NXT television.

She would quickly move to the main roster and got the “official” call-up by participating in the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble.

Evans has had feuds with Becky Lynch, Nattie, Sasha Banks, and Bayley. A WWE career highlight includes being the first female superstar, along with Natalya, to wrestle in Saudi Arabia at the Crown Jewel event in 2019.

Will she and Charlotte pick up where they left off? Without Ric Flair around now, that’s hard to say.

‘Tis the season for NXT call-ups! More on superstars that fans may see hitting the main roster, soon.

NXT Stars Could Soon Get Call Up

According to a Fightful Select report, Imperium could be moving for WWE NXT 2.0 to a main roster brand. Although, there may be some stipulations to it all.

There is chitter chat about calling up some of the faction, not all. The pitch involved NXT talents Barthel and Gunther coming, without Aichner.

The report notes that Imperium would probably be sent to Friday Night SmackDown. But no exact timeline was offered.

More On Main Roster Call Ups

Interestingly enough, Gunther moved to the US earlier in 2022. He started working with NXT 2.0 full-time, with the intent to land on either SmackDown or RAW at some point.

No further information on why Aichner is being taken out of the fold or “what’s next” for him. There was no reason provided as to why he would be left out of a call-up.

NXT’s Stand & Deliver event took place on the Saturday afternoon of WrestleMania 38 weekend activities. Barthel and Aichner lost their NXT tag titles to MSK, while Gunther scored a win against LA Knight in a singles match.

Still, Gunther did lose against NXT Champion Bron Breakker last night. Here’s hoping that there are good things in store for Imperium, once they hit the Red or Blue brand.
