Chris Rock's brother

It’s been a few weeks now since Will Smith slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars, but the world is still reeling from it. Now, Rock’s brother Kenny is speaking out to challenge Smith to a physical fight.

‘I Should Get In The Ring With Will Smith’

“I should get in the ring with Will Smith,” Kenny said, according to Daily Mail. “I could take him down … I’ll let the hands do the talking.”

Kenny then said that he has been “texting and talking” with Chris, who is “doing great” after the smack. He went on to talk about Smith being banned from the Academy for 10 years for slapping his brother.

“We have to see if he’s actually going to get the 10-year ban,” he said. “They might say a 10-year ban and after three years they’ll think we may have forgot about it and they’ll slide him in there after two years/ three years/ five years. So we have to make sure these people do what they say they’re going to do.”

Watch Kenny talk more about this in the video below.

Chris’s Brother Tony Addresses Slap

Chris’s brother Tony also addressed the slap during a recent standup comedy performance.

“If you think you gonna to walk up on this stage, this ain’t the motherf–king Oscars,” he said while onstage, according to Page Six. “And if you walk your ass up here, you ain’t nominated for shit but these motherf–king hands! Oh, we going to pop the rest of the year, n***a. Every time you see me do a show, pop!”

“I didn’t want to start the show like that!,” he added as he threw his hands in the air. “You gonna hit my motherf–king brother because your bitch gave you a side-eye?”

Chris is the oldest of seven siblings: brothers Andre, Tony, Brian, Kenny, and Jordan, as well as sister Andi. Kenny had previously talked to the Los Angeles Times about how disturbed he was by the slap.

‘It Eats At Me Watching It Over And Over Again’

“It eats at me watching it over and over again, because you’ve seen a loved one being attacked and there’s nothing you can do about it,” he said. “Every time I’m watching the videos, it’s like a rendition that just keeps going over and over in my head.”

“My brother was no threat to him and you just had no respect for him at that moment,” Kenny added. “You just belittled him in front of millions of people that watch the show.”

Chris Rock has been widely commended for keeping his cool in the wake of Will Smith slapping him.

Chris has yet to comment on the smack himself, saying that he will only tell his side of the story when he is paid for it. It will certainly be interesting to hear what he has to say when he finally breaks his silence!
