Bob Saget’s Widow Kelly Rizzo Finds Comfort With A New Friend In A ‘Club’ Neither Wants To Be In

Bob Saget’s widow Kelly Rizzo has found comfort from “a club we didn’t ever think we’d be in” with new friend Amada Kloots who’s husband died in 2020. Saget, 65, died last month while on tour in Florida.

Kelly Rizzo Leans On New Friend

US Magazine reported that since Saget’s death, his wife Kelly Rizzo has bonded with “The Talk” co-host Amanda Kloots, whose Broadway star husband Nick Cordero died of COVID-19 at the age of 41 back in July of 2020.

“New friends in a club we didn’t ever think we’d be in. So grateful to now know this strong woman, sharing stories only helps this rollercoaster we are on. ❤️,” Kloots captioned an Instagram photo of herself with Rizzo on Sunday.

Rizzo thanked Kloots in the comments section, writing, “If I’m going to be in this club, I’m grateful to have genuine caring people like you by my side. ❤️❤️❤️.”

“So grateful to connect with this strong angel of a human,” she later added on her Instagram Story. “Her insight is so incredible and helpful. Love you already @amandakloots.”

Rizzo, who married Saget in October of 2018, opened up about her grief in an emotional interview just days after his death.

Saget ‘Put It All Out There’

“He put it all out there. He told everyone that he loved, and I mean, quite frankly anyone he met — even spend any time with at all — he told them he loved them endlessly, and tirelessly, and that was his entire message,” Rizzo stated as she struggled to hold back tears.

“If you knew Bob, and he loved you, you knew it,” she continued. “There was never ever a doubt in your mind. I mean, even at his memorial, there were a lot of people there and every single person was pretty much like, ‘Oh, I talked to Bob last week.’ I’m like, ‘How did he have the time to talk to everybody and tell everybody that he loved them? All the time.’ It was just amazing.”

Saget’s Death Hit His Family ‘Like A Ton Of Bricks’

An insider said immediately after Saget’s death that his passing “has hit Bob’s loved ones like a ton of bricks.”

“Right now, they’re trying to get to the bottom of exactly what happened, and then they’ll try to process what life will be like without him,” the source added.
