Former UFC and WEC champion Anthony Pettis had plenty to say recently.
Pettis was a guest on The MMA Hour to talk about remarks made by Jeremy Stephens.
Stephens recently signed with the Professional Fighters League, joining Pettis in the promotion.
The two met back at UFC 138 with “Showtime” picking up a decision. Stephens wants to run it back, taking note of Pettis’ struggles in the process.
“Whatever he wants,” Pettis said (thanks to MMA Fighting for the quotes). “Look at my UFC career and WEC career, and look at his career. I beat him, so of course he has to talk (expletive). He has to say something.
“I’m undefeated in rematches, so if we run it back, I’m looking forward to seeing him again.”
Both Pettis and Stephens are set to be in the PFL 2022 regular season lightweight tournament.
