A dramatic video that has to be seen to be believed is going viral today, and it shows the chilling moment LAPD police officers save a pilot who crashed his plane on train tracks seconds before a train comes plowing into the wreckage.
Check out the video for yourself below.
Daily Mail reported that the video shows the officers rescuing the bloodied pilot from the wreckage of a plane that had crash landed on the tracks.
They managed to pull the unidentified pilot, who could not walk, from the destroyed Cessna 172 and drag him down the street seconds before an oncoming Metrolink train ran right through the aircraft.
“Go, go, go, go, go,” an officer can be heard shouting in the footage.

The pilot, who is in his 70s, was taken to the hospital, and his condition is unknown at this time. He was the only person on the plane, and no other injuries were reported. There were also no injuries occurring to anyone who was on the train.
“We have no reports of injuries to anyone on the ground,” an FAA spokesperson told CNN.
“Foothill Division Officers displayed heroism and quick action by saving the life of a pilot who made an emergency landing on the railroad tracks at San Fernando Rd. and Osborne St., just before an oncoming train collided with the aircraft,” the LAPD tweeted last night.
This accident is reportedly being investigated by the FAA and the National Transportation Safety Board. Officials said Metrolink service was halted and road traffic in the area was detoured.
Your Central Valley reported that officials said that the plane had just taken off from the nearby Whiteman Airport when it made the crash landing. While the cause of the crash is still being investigated, officials said that they think the plane may have lost power.

The Napa Valley Register reported that the four officers who carried out this rescue have been identified as Damien Castro, Christopher Aboyte, Robert Sherock, and Sgt. Joseph Cavestany.
“Seeing what happened, I’m grateful to be alive. I’m grateful the pilot survived as well,” Sherock said.
This serves as a reminder of just how heroic police officers in this country really are. Despite being constantly shamed by the left, they put their lives on the line to protect the rest of us every single day, often putting themselves right in the heart of harm’s way just to save someone else.
God bless the LAPD officers who saved this pilot, and God bless the men and women in blue all over America.
