Tom Brady FaceTime high school basketball team GOAT

Imagine you’re trying to call a friend, but you miss a number and instead you end up calling a pro football player. But this guy doesn’t play on just any team. Your wrong number plays on the Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the GOAT Tom Brady.

Basketball Teams Gets Tom Brady Surprise On FaceTime

A basketball team trying to meet over FaceTime instead got a meeting with Bucs cornerback Shawn Murphy-Bunting. Check it out:

Via WXYZ:

Within minutes of the start of the FaceTime call, the students were quickly introduced to some of the biggest names in football: Rob Gronkowski, Richard Sherman, Mike Evans, and Leonard Fournette. But as any football fan would do, they wanted to see the “GOAT,” which stands for Greatest of All Time. Mark Galle then asked to see quarterback Tom Brady.

And they got their wish!

Holy crap. Can you imagine a stray phone call leading to a FaceTime with TOM FREAKIN BRADY!?!?

The kids all said they’re Bucs fans for life. Not a bad choice, especially if you’re from Detroit. (I don’t know if you know this, but the Lions are not good at football.)

Tom Brady’s Michigan Connection

Since these guys are in High School they haven’t been ALIVE as long as Brady has played professional football. So they definitely weren’t around for Brady’s time as the quarterback for the Michigan Wolverines.

As the story goes, Brady was an okay – good but not great – quarterback at Michigan.

Playing behind former Yankee and Cowboy Drew Henson, Brady only started his junior and senior years. Michigan fans were not impressed with Brady’s game play and frequently called for him to be benched.

After college, of course,  Brady went on to be the seventh QB drafted in the 2000 draft, 199th overall.

Clearly the guy put in the work as now he’s a 7-time Super Bowl champion.

So let’s admire Tommy Touchdown a little more.

You Gotta Love The GOAT

He’s funny!

He officially owns Buffalo

He is 44 and putting up the best numbers in the league.

In short, it hard to argue that Tom Brady is not the greatest quarterback of all time, and perhaps the greatest player of football of all time.

I’d also go as far to say that Brady is the best athlete of all time. Hard to think of someone else who has performed at this high level for as long as he has.
