People Magazine reported that the movie special Betty White: 100 Years Young will be in theaters for one day only: January 17, which is White’s 100th birthday.

The movie is set to feature White herself along with some of her beloved friends including Ryan Reynolds, Tina Fey, Robert Redford, Lin Manuel-Miranda, Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman, Jay Leno, Carol Burnett, Craig Ferguson, Jimmy Kimmel, Valerie Bertinelli, James Corden, Wendy Malick, and Jennifer Love Hewitt.

“You’ll experience Betty’s funniest moments on ‘The Golden Girls,’ hosting ‘Saturday Night Live,’ ‘Hot in Cleveland,’ The Proposal, ‘The Mary Tyler Moore Show’ — and a lost episode from Betty’s very first sitcom. Plus Betty reveals inside stories of her amazing life and career,” the description of the movie reads. “This is a special one-day-only event; the party awaits.”

Trailer For White’s Movie

White can be seen in the trailer for the movie, saying, “Hello, I’m Betty White. I feel so fortunate to have had as great a career as I’ve had for as long as I have.”

“It’s just the magic of Betty White — not everybody has that,” Bertinelli adds at the end of the trailer, which you can watch below.

“Who doesn’t love a party?!? This one is gonna be GREAT!” White told CNN

Before turning 99 last year, White opened up to People Magazine about how she stays so positive in life.

“I don’t like the other side,” she said. “The positive side is a lot more fun.”

“Don’t take yourself too seriously,” White continued, stressing the importance of a sense of humor. “You can lie to others — not that I would — but you cannot lie to yourself.”

“Again, having a sense of humor,” she added. “Just looking at the positive side and not dwelling on the downside. Takes up too much energy being negative. Also having a good agent who keeps me busy all the time.”

White No Longer Travels

Fans of “The Golden Girls,” one of White’s most popular shows, are preparing to celebrate her at a convention for the show in Chicago in April. Unfortunately, however, White has said that she won’t be able to attend in person.

“No she is not. At 99 and about to be 100 [on Jan. 17], Betty no longer travels by air,” her spokesperson told The New York Post

We would like to wish White a very happy birthday, and we hope she has many more to come!
