Terry Bradshaw Blasts Aaron Rodgers Over COVID Vaccine – ‘Learn Not To Lie Because That’s What You Did’

Last week, we reported that Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was in hot water after he tested positive for COVID-19 and it was revealed that he had not been vaccinated. Now, NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw is coming hard for Rodgers saying he is “disappointed” that the league MVP would “lie” about his vaccine status.

Backstory: Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Tests Positive For COVID

Terry Bradshaw Attacks Aaron Rodgers

While on the “FOX NFL Sunday” set at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland, Bradshaw said that Rodgers “lied” about being vaccinated when he told reporters that he was “immunized.”

“I’ll give Rodgers some advice: It would be nice if he came to the Naval Academy and learn how to be honest,” Bradshaw said. “Learn not to lie because that’s what you did, Aaron.”

Rodgers infamously stated back in August that he was “immunized” when asked directly if he had gotten the vaccine. That statement came under heavy scrutiny when the QB recently tested positive.

Now, many are accusing him of lying, as they believe he was falsely trying to portray himself as being vaccinated.

Terry Bradshaw ‘Disappointed’ In Aaron Rodgers

“We are a divided nation politically,” Bradshaw continued, according to Daily Mail.

“We are a divided nation on COVID-19 — whether or not to take the vaccine — and, unfortunately, we got players that pretty much only think about themselves, and I’m extremely disappointed in the actions of Aaron Rodgers.”

Fellow analyst and Hall of Famer Jimmy Johnson acknowledged Rodgers’s approach to the vaccine. But, in the end, Johnson called the quarterback’s actions were “selfish.”

“I respect his attitude toward being an individual, but this is a team game, and in all honesty, I’m disappointed in his play on words for his explanation,” Johnson said. “I’m disappointed in some of his selfish actions.”

Howie Long Weighs In

Raiders’ legend Howie Long felt the same way.

“I agree with Aaron when he says, ‘What I do with my body is a personal decision,’ but it ceases to be a personal decision when you take part in being a part of a football team in a building with coaches, players, trainers, equipment managers … and you run the risk of taking something home to your wife, your children, your grandchildren,” Long said.

“And also, from a football standpoint, this team’s sitting at 7-1, and they certainly would be in vying for the only bye in the playoffs in the first round, also the best home advantage in football …” he continued. “Putting that all in jeopardy and possibly putting your teammates in jeopardy, to me, is selfish.”

Despite the backlash he is receiving, Aaron Rodgers has stood by his decision about the COVID-19 vaccine.

In fact, he recently told his side of the story on a sports podcast.  The 2o2o NFL MVP said he has an allergy to an ingredient in the mRNA vaccines. He cited this as the reason for the “immunization” path chosen by he and his medical team.

The future is hazy for the Green Bay Packers quarterback who remains in cancel culture’s cross hairs.

Will his MVP status be enough to successfully weather this cancel culture storm? Or does the woke mob have the power to take down even this NFL giant?

Whatever the outcome, it will say much about the state of affairs in American pro sports.
