LeBron James Mocks Kyle Rittenhouse For Fake Tears Then Gets Blasted On Fox News

In the midst of his high profile murder trial, Kyle Rittenhouse is firing back at LeBron James through a spokesman. The NBA star accused the 18 year-old defendant of fake crying in a widely circulated video of his testimony from earlier this week.

While testifying about the events that took place in Kenosha, Wisconsin last year that left two people dead and one injured, Rittenhouse broke down on the stand. The video of the young man breaking down during his high profile murder trial quickly went viral.

NBA superstar LeBron James seemed to think the appropriate response was to publicly mock the 18-year-old.

James tweeted the video to his 50+ million followers with the caption, “What tears????? I didn’t see one. Man knock it off! That boy ate some lemon heads before walking into court.”

Kyle Rittenhouse Fires Back At LeBron James

“It absolutely was not [fake crying]. To LeBron, I would just say he should be paying more attention to the Lakers,” Rittenhouse spokesman Dave Hancock told Fox News.

“But, if he would like to have a sitdown at some point in time, I’m sure he and Kyle can talk about how we can change and fix the system that allows prosecutors to do what they’re doing to Kyle right now,” he added. “It’s abhorrent.”

Of course, talking heads in the media have made similar comments about Rittenhouse.

“The View” cohost Joy Behar mocked him for his “crocodile tears”. She also called his testimony “one of the worst acting jobs” she’s ever seen.

“From the very beginning all of the media reporting, most of it, was completely untrue,” Hancock continued. “Over the past year that just continued to happen. This week I’ve seen several media reports that parrot the same false information.”

LeBron James’ Previous Comments

This isn’t the first time that LeBron James inserted himself into a complex law enforcement situation involving a deadly shooting.

Earlier this year, he seemed to attempt to target a Columbus police officer who was involved in the shooting of a 16-year-old Black teenager, Ma’Khia Bryant.

“YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY,” James tweeted alongside an hourglass image of one of the officers at the scene of Bryant’s shooting.

James would later delete the tweet after it came to light that officers were left with no choice but to shoot Bryant, as she was attacking another girl with a knife.

Afghan war veteran and one-time congressional candidate Chris Manning referenced James’ tweet about the Bryant shooting as he attacked the basketball player for his comments about Rittenhouse.

“Remember what happened the last time you ran your mouth about a shooting? About the same thing here,” Manning tweeted, with another user adding, “Hey King, sit this one out. You don’t have a good history with these takes.”

LEO Nate Silvester rose to fame with a parody video mocking LeBron James for thinking his NBA stardom gave him a say in law enforcement matters. The deputy was fired for his viral video but ultimately got the last laugh.

Perhaps LeBron James should stick to matters of the basketball court and leave criminal court matters to the experts.
