LeBron James took to social media on Sunday night to applaud Colin Kaepernick after the “woke” star’s former team, the San Francisco 49ers, lost to the Green Bay Packers 30-28.

James Praises Kaepernick

James reacted to a tweet that showed Kaepernick in his second year as quarterback for the 49ers beating the Packers during the divisional round of the 2012 NFC playoffs.

The 49ers ultimately won that game by a score of 45-31.

“LEGEND ON AND OFF THE FIELD!!! Kids don’t let them tell you he wasn’t still nice as hell on the field too! S/O KAEP,” James tweeted.

‘I Hope We Made Kaep Proud’

This was not the first time that James publicly praised Kaepernick.

When talking about kneeling during the national anthem before his games for the Los Angeles Lakers last summer, James said, “I hope we made Kaep proud.”

James also praised Kaepernick in 2019 after he settled his collusion grievance with the NFL.

“I hope it’s a helluva lot of money that could set not only him up but set his family up, set his grandkids up for the rest of their lives,” James said at the time, according to USA Today. “And I hope that the word of what he did will live on throughout American history but also world history because it’s important for all of us, not only the African Americans but for everybody that wants to stand up for something that’s more important than them.”

‘I Stand With Kap, I Kneel With Kap’

“I think it’s important to stick up for what you believe in, you what I’m saying?” he added. “I think with Kap, I stand with Kap, I kneel with Kap.”

“I just feel what he was talking about no one wanted to listen to. Nobody ever really wanted to understand where he was actually coming from. I think that anybody that would sacrifice their livelihood for the betterment of all of us, I can respect that and he’s done that,” James concluded. “I mean, you got a guy who basically lost his job because he wanted to stand for something that was more than just him.”

Liberals like James have tried to turn Kaepernick into some kind of martyr, suggesting that he has not been signed to another NFL team in the years since he left the 49ers because of racism.

They conveniently ignore Kaepernick’s losing record as a quarterback, and the millions of dollars he’s made simply for going “woke” since he ended his football career.

Both Kaepernick and James have no respect for America, so it’s no surprise that they are big fans of one another.
