As you may know, Duane Chapman aka “Dog The Bounty Hunter” is in hot pursuit of Brian Laundrie, who is suspected of killing his girlfriend Gabby Petito. Yesterday, we reported that Dog’s own daughter Cecily had slammed his search for Laundrie as a “publicity stunt.” Was she on the right track?

Dog Pitches Reality Show

Now, some credence has possibly been lent to Cecily’s claim, as it’s being reported that Dog has already pitched a reality show on his search for Laundrie to A&E.

An insider told The Wrap that this did not bode well for Dog because A&E “immediately passed” on the show.

Watch Dog talk about the latest on his search for Laundrie below:

This comes after Dog’s estranged daughter Cecily predicted that her father would be unsuccessful in getting a reality show out of his search for Laundrie.

“A real network would be aware of the situation and I’m pretty sure everyone knows that this is a f—ing publicity stunt,” she said.

Dog May Be Getting Other TV Offers

However, while A&E passed on a reality show for Dog revolving around his search for Laundrie, other networks may be interested in this kind of program.

Other sources told TMZ that offers from various networks have been pouring in for Dog since he publicly joined the search.

Dog claimed that he did not have an ulterior motive of getting a television show when he joined the search for Laundrie.

Instead, he said that he was in the middle of his honeymoon with his new wife Francie Frane when news of Laundrie going on the run broke. He says he only got involved “because of my unique skill set and the fact I was only an hour away from where he was last seen.”

Dog went on to say that he has gotten close to the Petito family, and that he is motivated by the idea of bringing closure to them.

That being said, Dog added that he would consider it if his hunt for Laundrie brought him offers for new television gigs.

Dog Believes Laundrie Is Alive

The bounty hunter also said that he firmly believes that Laundrie is alive and using his survival skills to evade capture in the Florida Everglades.

However, he also feels that the young man is probably not doing well physically at this point, which means it’s crucial that he be found as quickly as possible so that he can answer questions about what happened to Gabby Petito.

Dog has given $10,000 to the reward fund that’s grown to $170,000 – much of that has been donated by private individuals.
