Former UFC legends Vitor Belfort and Anderson Silva shined Saturday night during the latest Triller event.
Belfort handled ex-heavyweight boxing world champion Evander Holyfield in the main event. Holyfield stepped in on short notice for Oscar De La Hoya, but couldn’t deal with the pressure of “The Phenom.”
In the co-main event, Silva knocked out Tito Ortiz in just 81 seconds. “The Spider” recently embarked on a boxing career.
Following the win for Belfort in 1:49 of the first round, he called out Jake Paul.
“Stop running from me,” Belfort said. “You’re going to meet your daddy.”
Triller CEO Ryan Kavanagh said he would put up $30 million in a winner-take-all match between Belfort and Paul. He targeted Thanksgiving for the possible fight.
