Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Make Queen Elizabeth An Offer That Stuns Palace Staffers

After months of speaking out against the Royal Family in various interviews, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have made an offer to Queen Elizabeth that has reportedly caused quite a stir at Buckingham Palace.

Meghan And Harry Offer To Bring Baby Lilibet To Meet Queen

The Sun reports that Meghan and Harry have contacted Queen Elizabeth offering to come and visit her in the United Kingdom in the coming weeks so that they can introduce her to their baby daughter, Lilibet.

Senior staffers at Buckingham Palace are said to be stunned about this offer to meet, as Meghan and Harry have been attacking the Royal Family left and right this year like it was their job.

“Harry and Meghan have made this offer but a lot of people are shocked by the sheer nerve of it,” one source said. “They may genuinely want to see the Queen but it’s breathtaking given what they’ve put her through this year.”

“Her Majesty’s staff have not responded so far. In fact there has also been discussion about Christmas — and whether an invitation should be sent to Harry and Meghan, after they spurned one last year,” the insider added. 

“The Queen is still very fond of Harry, and would love to see Lilibet and her brother Archie. But courtiers are surprised by the move, especially from Meghan, after what has happened.”

Queen Elizabeth ‘Exasperated’ By Meghan And Harry

Another source spoke out to say that the Queen is “exasperated” by the very personal claims that Harry and Meghan have made.

According to the source, Queen Elizabeth has instructed staffers to be ready to refute any claims that Harry makes about the Royal Family in his upcoming memoir, which is due to be released next year.

“The family are concerned he will go into his feelings about Diana’s death, her treatment by the royals and how he initially felt about his father’s relationship with Camilla,” this source said.

“That’s why it’s all the more surprising that this offer for a meeting has been made now,” the insider continued.

Royal Family Under Attack

The most shocking claims by Meghan and Harry against the Royal Family include accusations of racism and a lack of sensitivity to the young prince’s mental health struggles.

While they’ve refrained from attacking the Queen personally, she’s spent her entire life trying to protect the monarchy, which the couple seems comfortable dragging through the mud.
