SummerSlam is just days away! As the excitement continues to build within the WWE Universe, WNZ has an update on a title match scheduled for this Saturday’s event. More details, below.

Update On SummerSlam Title Match

The SmackDown Women’s Championship is on the line at SummerSlam. Bianca Belair will defend her title against Sasha Banks at the pay-per-view (PPV).

However, there has been some worry, internally, about the title bout. Actually, there was concern Belair versus Banks would be pulled from the event.

The two superstars missed two WWE live Supershow events (non-televised) this past weekend. They were held in North and South Carolina.

No details were provided. However, the official statement was that the two ladies were off these shows due to “unforeseen circumstances”.

According to PW Insider, both wrestlers are cleared for action, unless something “unforeseen” happens. Therefore, Banks versus Belair is on the card, as per the report.

SummerSlam Title Match – Update On “Go-Home” SmackDown

The report also highlighted that Bianca and Sasha would be in attendance for SmackDown’s “go-home” edition for SummerSlam this Friday. Both ladies will be at Phoenix’s Footprint Center.

In fact, Belair versus Carmella is being advertised locally. There’s a good chance it’ll be a dark match.

In addition, WWE is advertising Bianca for the post-SummerSlam Supershow on Sunday. This is taking place at the Ball Arena in Denver.

SummerSlam’s Belair versus Banks is a rematch from the ladies’ WrestleMania 37 main event (Night One). This took place on Saturday, April 10th, where Banks lost the championship to Bianca.

Over to some interesting news. Do any other WWE fans miss Bo Dallas?

The superstar was released earlier this year from the company. He was part of a virtual signing recently where he talked about working for the company with a broken (freaking) neck.

Bo Dallas Worked With Broken Neck

Dallas recently was on Highspots Wrestling Network for a virtual signing session. He chatted about a variety of things.

One interesting topic that came out is he was injured before the WWE released him. During the session, Bo reveals he broke his neck two years ago.

As he states, the last time he was on WWE TV was a SmackDown segment between the B-Team and Braun Strowman.

At that point, Bo Dallas’s neck was already broken, but he still did the spot. He got time off after that segment.

Recovery & COVID-19 Were Challenges

Dallas notes that he opted out of rebreaking his neck and reconstruction that would take him out of action for over a year. He rebuilt and restrengthened the muscles around his neck, instead.

It was merely nine months for him to get back to 100%. Sadly, COVID-19 then hit.

So, Dallas walked away from in-ring action to heal a broken neck in 2019. Coming back in 2020 was challenging because of the chaos that the pandemic brought.

The good news is that Bo says he’s in the best shape of his life right now. He also states he’s ready for the next chapter, and possibly a return to pro wrestling.

Bo Dallas achieved many milestones during his time with WWE. He was NXT Champion, a Raw Tag Title holder, plus he once held the 24/7 Championship.
