Hello again, from another RAW In A Nutshell. After this one, it’s next stop: Las Vegas on Saturday night, with SummerSlam!

So, we made it to Monday. We’ve got less than a week to go, and it’s our go home RAW.

And since it is a RAW In A Nutshell…a very specific go home Nutshell at that…what’s on tap?

Well, this is all about the final hype. You’ve got Lashley and Goldberg, for starters.

Some dose of Nikki A.S.H, Charlotte and Rhea Ripley, without a doubt.

Perhaps we finally get that RK-Bro/AJ Styles-Omos tag title match confirmed?

There’s more floating around, but those are the top matches for RAW as we rumble toward SummerSlam, right?

So, with our next stop Las Vegas on Saturday night, might as well get to it, right?

Let’s crack open this Nutshell and have some fun!

Best Match of the night:

I will take all of the Orton/Riddle/AJ Styles/Omos fun.

Was not the best, not at all.

But tonight it worked for me.

Worst match of the night:

Not going with a match (though I didn’t really enjoy that women’s tag match with the women’s title match participants).

I could, though I feel that was done purely to somehow tie in Nia Jax to things.

No, for me, the main event segment wins.

Not a match, I admit. But it was just bad.

Crowd Chants of the Night:

Loved the RK-Bro chants. Riddle was working the crowd

Star of the Night

Give me Orton and Riddle, with a nod to AJ Styles and Omos.

I think they did the best work tonight.

Spot of the Night:

Going with a twist here…how about “worst looking spot of the night”

But wait…isn’t that the botch?

Maybe. Except I am pretty sure this one wasn’t a botch.

Just…a horrible spot.

That would be Goldberg’s “spear” on Lashley.

It was far more a double leg takedown than anything, and Bill had almost no steps into it.

I will say, however…that Lashley sold the everliving snot out of that, as though it was the most brutal spear ever.

Holy Sh** Moment of the Night:

WWE going for edgy two Nutshells in a row?

I mean, they let Goldberg curse? That, or big Bill is going to be in trouble.

Botch of the night:

See spot of the night. Because…yeah why not.

That spear was just bad.

LOL Moment of the night:

24/7 title in the park? Why not.

I mean…a disguised R-Truth takes out the Tozawa-garbage can?

Also, this tweet made me LOL…

And this…

Noteworthy Moment:

RK-Bro is officially back, and officially has a tag title match in Las Vegas on Saturday night.

Not bad…we all knew it was coming…like months ago. But I am kind of looking forward to it.

Which means AJ and Omos probably retain, but what do I know.

Overall lowlights:

How to deal with lackluster hype for a SummerSlam main event: Friday’s SmackDown.

What not to do? Goldberg and Lashley tonight.

Did not like the interaction. Involving Goldberg’s kid just feels wrong, especially because I believe he’s in high school.

Lashley isn’t great on the mic, and his delivery was terrible tonight. There is a reason MVP is there…so use him for that.

There are probably other lowlights from RAW, but with the next stop Las Vegas…the main event gets my ire.

Overall highlights:

Honestly? The RK-Bro storyline stole the show for me tonight.

WWE had it front and center from the opening bell and it ran through most of the show.

I am far more interested in that than I am Goldberg and Lashley.

The only reason I will pay attention to their title match? To see if Big E cashes in, or something else exciting happens.

After the final bell:

Honestly, as far as go-home shows are concerned…this one felt like a mixed bag.

I dug the Orton/Riddle story, and the entire progression over the year has been unexpectedly good.

The story line got a lot of television time tonight, likely making up for the fact Orton was gone a lot recently.

Alexa Bliss continues to be interesting, if that appeals to you…curious to see how things unfold.

Karrion Kross got a rather dominant victory tonight…so perhaps the boss likes him again.

I have a sneaking suspicion that there was a reason the camera lingered on Nia Jax looking unhappy with Charlotte.

Will Jax cost Flair her match on Saturday?

So, that’s it for another RAW In A Nutshell. Yes, next stop Las Vegas on Saturday night..
