Things just got even worse for Prince Andrew, as a source has come forward to claim that he is considered a person of interest in an ongoing U.S. investigation into the activities of convicted billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein and his alleged cohorts, including Ghislaine Maxwell.

Prince Andrew Considered Person Of Interest In Epstein Investigation

The insider familiar with the probe told Reuters that investigators are eager to interview Prince Andrew, who is the third child of Queen Elizabeth and her late husband Prince Philip.

Since he is a person of interest, Andrew is viewed as a potential witness.

Last year, prosecutors said that Andrew “sought to falsely portray himself to the public as eager and willing to cooperate,” yet had not given them an interview and declined to talk to them repeatedly.

The source said that while prosecutors for the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York have said that Andrew is a person of interest, they do not expect to have the chance to talk to him anytime soon, if ever at all.

“He doesn’t seem to want to talk to us,” added the insider.

Sources in the United Kingdom have said that the Queen and the rest of the Royal Family are getting tired of Andrew’s scandal surrounding Epstein.

“The family also has serious and growing doubts about the way such serious allegations have been dealt with by Andrew and his legal team, who seem to be at complete odds with one another on how to respond,” a source recently told the Mirror.

Virginia Roberts Giuffre Files Lawsuit Against Prince Andrew

Earlier this month, Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre filed her long awaited civil lawsuit against Prince Andrew for allegedly having sex with her when she was underage.

Roberts Giuffre told Fox News after filing it that she wants to hold Andrew “accountable.”

“Today my attorney filed suit against Prince Andrew for sexual abuse under the Child Victims Act,” she said. “As the suit lays out in detail, I was trafficked to him and sexually abused by him.”

“I am holding Prince Andrew accountable for what he did to me,” Giuffre added. “The powerful and rich are not exempt from being held responsible for their actions. I hope that other victims will see that it is possible not to live in silence and fear, but to reclaim one’s life by speaking out and demanding justice.”

“I did not come to this decision lightly,” she continued. “As a mother and a wife, my family comes first – and I know that this action will subject me to further attacks by Prince Andrew and his surrogates – but I knew if I did not pursue this action, I would be letting them and victims everywhere down.”

Buckingham Palace Defends Andrew

Buckingham Palace has stood by Prince Andrew so far and denied the allegations made by Virginia Roberts Giuffre.

“It is emphatically denied that The Duke of York had any form of sexual contact or relationship with Virginia Roberts,” the palace said. “Any claim to the contrary is false and without foundation.”

It seems that this scandal involving Andrew will not be coming to an end anytime soon.

The world will be watching to see how Virginia Roberts Giuffre’s lawsuit plays out as well as how the Royal Family responds.
