… And a baby makes three! Some exciting news hit social media earlier today for WWE fans. NXT power couple Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano revealed they are expecting a baby. More details, below!
Candice LeRae and Johnny Gargano got married in 2016. The twosome has been going strong both inside and outside the squared circle since.
The couple revealed some big news via social media today. The NXT superstars officially announced that they are expecting their first baby together.
The happy couple posted a nice “first baby photo”. It was a picture of Candice, Johnny, and their dog, showing off their ultrasound.
When should fans anticipate Baby Wrestling to hit the scene? Sounds like the little one is set to arrive in February 2022.
Johnny Gargano has had quite a career in NXT. He’s the first Triple Crown Champion for the brand.
He’s held the tag titles, North American Championship (three times), and NXT Championship. Meanwhile, Candice has held the NXT Women’s Tag Team title.
A baby on the way means one or both of these superstars will take some time off. But, something tells us that neither Johnny or Candice mind.
On behalf of everyone here at WNZ, we offer huge congratulations to the happy couple. A fantastic baby announcement, for a fantastic pair of people.
Meanwhile, some sad news for fans of the Nasty Boys. One-half of the tag team, Brian Knobbs, is currently in the hospital.
The Nasty Boys did some incredible things as a tag team, back in the 1990s. Unfortunately, WWE legend Brian Knobbs is currently in the hospital battling a number of health issues.
At the age of 57, Knobbs is a wrestling veteran. Doctors are currently conducting several tests to figure out exactly what is wrong with the former WWE superstar.
The issue seems to be in his stomach. A GoFundMe has been organized for Brian to help with hospital and household bills that keep climbing.
Knobbs was recently rushed to the emergency via ambulance. His doctors are quite concerned, and it sounds like he could be in the hospital for a couple of months, at the very least.
Along with his stomach problems, Brian’s good knee requires surgery. This is needed to help him walk again.
Like many, the pandemic struck Knobbs hard. He recently started to travel for work again, but increased pain caused him to stop.
On top of all this, he’s lost some of his closest friends in the business in recent years. His health issues, plus this has Knobbs struggling with mental health, too.
The Nasty Boys were tag champs in many promotions, including WCW and WWE. They’ve said before that getting a WWE Hall of Fame induction would be the “icing” on their career cake.
Here’s hoping it happens and soon. WNZ wishes Brian Knobbs a speedy recovery, and the best possible outcome.
