Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have found themselves at odds with cancel culture over skin-whitening cream. The Duke and Duchess recently finalized a deal with a massive company that sells skin-whitening cream. Now, they are facing cries of hypocrisy due to the fact that they often speak out against racism.
The Royal exiles announced a deal with Procter and Gamble through their non-profit Archewell foundation. The arrangement focuses on “gender equality, more inclusive online spaces, and resilience and impact through sport.”
Harry and Meghan often discuss racism. They even discussed racism within Harry’s own family with Oprah Winfrey.
But, they apparently turned the other cheek when it came to partnering with a company that sells cream to lighten skin.

Procter and Gamble’s Olay brand sells White Radiance moisturizer in India, Malaysia, and Singapore. The marketing materials for skin lightening or whitening creams claim they reduce the concentration or production of melanin, which gives skin its darker pigment.
Critics of these creams accuse them of being racist and demand their removal from store shelves.
There are quite a few people taking aim at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle about their deal.
They say the creams and the accompanying marketing imply lighter skin is more beautiful.
Nina Davuluri, who was the first Indian American to be crowned Miss America, believes the creams promote a “racist” ideology.
She thinks they create the perception “that you need white skin to be beautiful, you need white skin to be successful.”
“Meghan has talked a lot about the issue of race and racism, so this does stick out like a sore thumb,” former Procter & Gamble executive Alex Malouf said.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been woke warriors but this alignment with Procter and Gamble makes it appear they are willing to push their values to the side for a windfall payday.
