Prince William Harry

Prince Harry has spoken with his brother and father after his and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey that painted the Royals as racist. But, those conversations were “not productive.”

Meghan and Oprah’s friend, Gayle King, reached out to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after the interview aired.

Clearly she had permission to discuss this on television which will likely inflame the situation with Harry’s family.

Harry’s Conversations With His Family Are “Not Productive”

“Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father, too. The word I was given was those conversations were not productive,” King stated in the CBS This Morning tweeted video below. “But they are glad that they have at least started a conversation.”

King, who is clearly on Meghan and Harry’s side, tells the audience that the Royal Family is claiming they want to deal with this privately but they have not reached out to Meghan.

Of course, the Royals are likely grappling with the fallout from the interview.

It could be tenuous picking up the phone to call the person who betrayed them so publicly with the interview and also Megxit.

Meghan and Harry are doing a bit of damage control as their popularity plummeted after the interview.

With Gayle King’s assistance, they are attempting to continue portraying themselves as victims.

Prince William Doesn’t Trust Harry And Meghan

A royal insider told Daily Mail that William doesn’t trust speaking with the Sussexes, particularly after Gayle King already spilled the tea about Harry’s conversation with them.

“There’s a lack of trust on both sides which makes moving forward very hard,” the source said. “William is now worried that anything he says to his brother will be plastered over American TV.”

Harry’s grandfather Prince Philip had been hospitalized for several weeks when the Oprah interview aired.

The Royals are reporting trying to shield him from these claims of racism made by the Sussexes.

A friend of the Royals said, “It seems the Sussexes seem to want to keep fuelling this story at a time when the royals are trying to protect Prince Philip from the headlines.”

Prince Philip’s 100th Birthday

The Duke of Edinburgh will turn 100 this year. Harry’s relationship with his family is so strained at this time that it is unsure if he will take a trip across the pond to toast his ailing grandfather.

And, that begs the question, would Harry see his brother Prince William?
