With the wrestling landscape a bit different since we last saw him, Eric Bischoff speaks on a possible WWE return. Plus, Ricochet delivers a major botch, thanks to social media.

Eric Bischoff On WWE Return

We never thought we’d see him in WWE, until we did. So, what about Eric Bischoff on a possible WWE return?

To put it bluntly, the now-WWE Hall of Famer slammed the door closed on that.

The topic came up on his own personal podcast. While you might have thought he was on better terms with WWE, that does not seem to matter.

To paraphrase Eric Bischoff on a WWE return? No way in Hell.

His language and delivery was certainly more colorful and passionate. The point, however, was made.

Can you blame him? Probably not, in the grand scheme of things.

At one point, it seemed unlikely that Vince McMahon and Eric Bischoff would be anything other than mortal enemies.

Then, Vince McMahon purchased WCW…and in time, he trotted out Eric Bischoff.

Most recently (and only a couple years ago), Bischoff and Paul Heyman were put in executive producer spots for RAW and SmackDown.

While both men are no longer in those roles, Eric Bischoff was more abruptly canned. That termination wrapped up his  final WWE stint.

Based on his comments, there won’t be one more.

In the grand scheme of things, given Bischoff’s experience, he may mean it. Though it is always worth pointing out…if Vince McMahon wants someone bad enough, the checkbook does open up.

Still, this time around it would seem unlikely there’s any sort of reunion coming.

Ricochet Delivers Major Botch

Ricochet may be on the verge of a new push, finally getting a new shot on the main roster recently…but we now see that Ricochet delivers a major botch, thanks to a now deleted tweet.

The full details were posted by Wrestling, Inc, and include the now deleted tweet.

So, what caused the massive kerfuffle in the first place?

Well, a debate over the best WWE flyer kicked it off.

Ricochet, newly back to the main roster, was happy to chime in and engage the fans…until he was challenged by a fan touting NXT’s Io Shirai.

The discussion took a downward turn, which lead to some snark and the ultimately deleted tweet.

Fans gave Ricochet plenty of grief about his boast, and it’s understandable why.

So…what does it all mean?

Well, that the Superstar deleted the tweet is telling. Either he was tired of the flak, or perhaps someone in Stamford directed the removal.

In any case, Ricochet comes out of it looking not so hot.

On one hand, you have to admire Ricochet’s confidence in his capabilities-that may be simply what it was.

On the other hand, there was no doubt a much more diplomatic way to say that as good as the Genius of the Skies is, he feels supremely talented too.

Unfortunately, it came off more on the sexist side of things, and that just can’t happen.
