1. Bray Wyatt And Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt certainly qualify for our list of weirdest on-screen couples in WWE history. After all, Alexa was quite a world removed from the weirdness that is Bray Wyatt.
Of course, to make the match more believable, WWE systematically turned Bliss into a brainwashing victim. Eventually, she became just as twisted as Wyatt.
For her new character, Bliss counted on her old Harley Quinn look. But no matter how you look at it, it works!
2. Kane And Tori

Another odd pairing came in the form of Tori and Kane. Of course, it could not have come at a better time, as Kane just had a face turn.
When Kane teamed up with X-Pac, he could also count on the support of Tori. However, the romance did not last, as Tori turned on Kane and chose X-Pac.
Of course, the betrayal of Tori endeared fans to Kane even more. At the end of the nineties, this worked out perfectly for the Big Red Machine.
3. Molly Holly And Spike Dudley

Spike Dudley and Molly Holly are another wonderful addition in our list of weirdest on-screen couples in WWE history. Unfortunately, this is a story that is often lost in the mix of so many others.
Long story short, the on-screen romans between Molly Holly and Spike caused a rift with the Dudley Boyz. It eventually led to a weekly feud.
But like most WWE romances, theirs came to an abrupt end. Molly Holly eventually turned on Spike Dudley and joined The Hurricane in a faction called The Alliance.
4. Otis And Mandy Rose

Our next weird match-up is a fairly recent one. Of course, we are talking about none other than Mandy Rose and Otis.
In 2020, Mandy and Otis had a storied romance. But while all started well, Dolph Ziggler and Sonya Deville tried to split them up.
Mandy eventually found out the truth and the couple reunited during an epic WrestleMania moment.
Unfortunately, Mandy was moved to Raw while Otis remained on SmackDown. However, the couple never officially split up, so that could be interesting for the future!
5. Trish Stratus And Christian

This match-up is a little less weird compared to some of our previous couples. However, the match-up was not exactly straightforward.
Back in 2004, Trish Stratus turned heel in spite of being one of the most popular stars. Upon her heel turn, she turned on Chris Jericho and aligned herself with Christian.
It eventually led to a singles match between Christian and Jericho, where Trish chose Christian. The couple would continue their heel reign for several months after.
Of course, the weird couple saw their end when Christian suffered a serious injury.
6. Vickie Guerrero And Edge

One of the weirdest on-screen couples throughout WWE history is undoubtedly Vickie Guerrero and Edge. Their storyline is also one of the most memorable today.
Of course, the relationship did have its intricacies and problems. After all, Edge used Vickie to become the top heel in the company.
Vickie and Edge also had their own stable called La Familia. It included guys like Zack Ryder, Curt Hawkins and Chavo Guerrero.
Of course, it all fell apart during the wedding, when Triple H had some compromising footage. Vickie eventually saw through the ruse and the wedding was cancelled.
7. Eddie Guerrero And Chyna

This has got to be one of our favorite weird couples in WWE history. Despite their weird match, it actually worked because of the popularity of both wrestlers.
The romance had benefits for both Chyna and Eddie Guerrero. After all, their romance allowed them to expand on their characters and show a completely new side of themselves.
As is the case in the WWE, their on-screen romance did not last. However, even their breakup benefited them.
Chyna and Eddie continued feuding with one another. Of course, it also gave Chyna a reputation no woman has been able to emulate since.
8. Daniel Bryan And AJ Lee

Another couple whose relationship benefited their personal careers is the match-up between AJ Lee and Daniel Bryan. Of course, this was another relationship where one was using the other.
Fan favorite Daniel Bryan took a different path in his career when he turned into a heel. And his plans for dominating eventually included using AJ Lee.
Bryan manipulated AJ Lee to get wins. Lee became a big face while Daniel Bryan still enjoyed support from fans as a heel.
The happy couple eventually broke up at WrestleMania when Daniel Bryan lost to Sheamus.
9. Tajiri And Torrie Wilson

Torrie Wilson was one of the standout stars when WCW started to merge with WWE. There was one problem though, as Torrie was still a heel.
To get Torrie to turn face, WWE decided to pair her up with fan favorite Tajiri. Needless to say, this was one of the weirdest on-screen couples in WWE history.
Torrie Wilson and Tajiri eventually became fan favorites as a couple. It also did wonders for their individual careers, so this proved to be a smart match.
10. Beth Phoenix And Santino Marella

Our final weird couple in the mix is Beth Phoenix and Santino Marella. Phoenix was a legitimate power house, while Santino was a strong comedic wrestler.
While nobody could have imagined the pair together, it somehow worked. In fact, their alliance led to championship gold as well!
Beth Phoenix ended up winning the WWE Women’s Championship. Santino on the other hand won the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
Phoenix and Santino had unique chemistry because they were so different. Of course, there have been other couples in our list for which that had been the case.
