Last month, the cancel culture mob found a new target in Sharon Osbourne after she dared to defend her friend Piers Morgan from claims that he is racist simply for criticizing Meghan Markle. Now, Sharon’s daughter Kelly Osbourne is defiantly speaking out to say “f*** cancel culture.”

Kelly’s comments contrast the ones made by LeVar Burton, who has become a frontrunner to be named host of “Jeopardy!”

While appearing on “The View” this week, Burton defended cancel culture, saying that it’s really “consequence culture.”

Here is a clip of Burton talking about cancel culture with Megan McCain on “The View.”

Kelly Osbourne Sounds Off On Cancel Culture

Kelly Osbourne disagrees with LeVar Burton’s characterization of cancel culture.

In a new interview with Extra, Kelly made it clear that she is against cancel culture because she believes that making people walk on eggshells all the time is not the answer to fighting racism.

She thinks we should allow people to make mistakes without cancelling them forever, and focus on educating them instead.

“I didn’t know what was really going on in this country because I just thought that simply being not racist was enough,” said Kelly, 36. “It’s not, it’s actually not, you have to be actively not racist and educate yourself and learn, and don’t be afraid to make a mistake.”

“Everybody’s so afraid of cancel culture,” she continued. “I say, f*** cancel culture. It’s all about counsel culture. Educate people, teach people… a gentle nudge in the right direction is so much better than a public execution.”

Sharon Osbourne Gets ‘Cancelled’

Kelly got the chance to see the evils of cancel culture first hand when the “woke” mob came for her mother. Last month Sharon Osbourne stepped up to defend her friend Piers Morgan during a fiery exchange on “The Talk.”

Piers was being accused of racism for criticizing Meghan Markle despite the fact that he said nothing about her race.

He solely focused on the disrespect he feels that she’s shown the Royal Family.

After defending her friend in a heated exchange with her cohost Sheryl Underwood, Sharon issued an apology in which she said that she is “not a racist.”

The damage, however, was already done.

Sharon exited “The Talk” days later after CBS conducted an investigation that found that her “behavior toward her co-hosts during the March 10 episode did not align with our values for a respectful workplace.”

LeVar Burton Defends Cancel Culture

In contrast to the way the Osbourne family views cancel culture, former “Reading Rainbow” host LeVar Burton supports it.

“In terms of cancel culture, I think it’s misnamed, that’s a misnomer. I think we have a consequence culture and that consequences are finally encompassing everybody in the society,” LeVar said this week. “Whereas they haven’t been, ever, in this country.”

“I think there are good signs in the culture, and I think it has everything to do with a new awareness on people who were simply unaware of the real nature of life in this country for people who have been othered since this nation began,” he added.

Perhaps LeVar would feel differently about cancel culture if he or someone he loved was targeted by it.
