‘Boy Meets World’ Actress Determined To Keep Doing Adult Films While Also Acting On Mainstream TV
Maitland Ward, who acted in 90s sitcom "Boy Meets World," took a turn in adult films and now wants the best of both worlds simultaneously.
Maitland Ward, who spent years starring on the popular sitcom “Boy Meets World” in the 1990s, made headlines a few years ago when she launched a new career as a porn star. Now, Ward is launching her comeback on mainstream television.
Find out more about how Ward transitioned from a sitcom actress to a porn star in the video below.
“Boy Meets World” Actress To Be Back On Mainstream TV
Ward has no intention of giving up her porn career. Instead, the 44-year-old actress firmly intends to try and straddle both worlds.
She told The New York Post that she is currently starring in and producing a new comedy series called “The Big Time.”
The show revolves around a “world-famous adult superstar.” Go figure!
It’s a far cry from the coming-of-age sitcom “Boy Meets World” in which she played Rachel McGuire.
Though it is unprecedented for an actor to transition back to mainstream television from porn, Ward is confident that she has what it takes to be successful in both worlds simultaneously.

“I want to slay both industries,” Ward explained. “I love and embrace both. Me being bold and free in my sexuality and so out there with it has really given me that power. When I was like this innocent flower, I was letting everyone else dictate what I should do or what I should be.”
Ward Never Believed Porn Would ‘Ruin’ Her
While many warned Ward that porn would ruin her career, she never bought into that.
“When people always say, ‘Oh porn’s going to ruin you. You’ll never be seen by mainstream again. Nobody will ever want to hire you and porn will ruin it,’ ” she said, “it’s given me my acting career back. It really has.”
On her new show, Ward is collaborating with “Leaving Normal” duo Mikey Rodriguez and Zerelda Nothnagel. They agree the former “Boy Meets World” actress brings “invaluable insight and authenticity to a subject that is often misunderstood.”
Maitland Ward added that “The Big Time” will highlight what she describes as the “family environment” in the adult entertainment industry, which is “a tight-knit community.”
“Everybody really cares about each other, and I think that’s going to be something that people don’t expect from a relationship at a studio for porn,” she said.
Hollywood Is More Morally Bankrupt Than Ever
Should Ward’s transition back to the mainstream world of Hollywood be successful, it would highlight just how far the entire entertainment industry has fallen morally in recent years.
Conservatives like Gina Carano and James Woods are blacklisted by Hollywood simply for expressing their views.
Yet, a porn star is not only being embraced, she’s being given her own show to showcase the “family environment” of the adult entertainment industry.
You really can’t make this stuff up.
