“The Talk” has cancelled Monday and Tuesday’s shows as it struggles with how to handle comments made by co-host Sharon Osbourne when she defended Piers Morgan.
Osbourne got into a heated exchange with Sheryl Underwood over her defense of Morgan.
The now former “Good Morning Britain” host savagely criticized Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Osbourne said that while she didn’t agree with Piers Morgan’s words, she recognized his right to say it.

Underwood took exception to Sharon Osbourne’s words.
The rock star wife turned talk show host did not like being painted as a racist and fired back.
In this aggressive climate of cancel culture, Osbourne felt the need to defend herself as it all was being laid out on live television.
From Yahoo News:
“Did I like everything he said? Did I agree with what he said? No,” Osbourne said. “Because it’s his opinion. It’s not my opinion… I support him for his freedom of speech, and he’s my friend.”
“I’m not racist… I don’t care what color or what religion anyone is,” she went on. “Are you a nice person? That’s what I judge you on.”
In response, Underwood asked, “What would you say to people who may feel that while you’re standing by your friend, it appears you gave validation or safe haven to something that he has uttered that is racist, even if you don’t agree? Am I saying it right?”
“Educate me, tell me when you have heard him say racist things?” Osbourne replied. “I very much feel like I’m about to be put in the electric chair because I have a friend, who many people think is a racist, so that makes me a racist?”
Video of this heated exchange is below.
Now, the show is undergoing an investigation surrounding Osbourne’s comments.
In addition, it is being pulled off the air for a couple days for what may be a cooling off period.
Piers Morgan is actively battling “wokeism” and tweeted about this scandal Sharon Osbourne has found herself in for defending him.
She quickly backed away from her defense of her friend but the trap had already been set.
The knives now appear to be out for Sharon Osbourne.
Holly Robinson Peete took the opportunity to pile on Osbourne with her own accusations of racism.
Robinson Peete tweeted that Osbourne said she was “too ghetto” shortly before Peete was fired from the show.
With the show in hiatus during this heated time, Osbourne returned to Twitter to address Robinson Peete’s accusations.
She has emails to defend herself against these claims of racism.
In an email from Robinson Peete after leaving the show, she stated how much she missed Osbourne and accused “Julie” for her departure.
Sharon Osbourne followed that with a second tweet stating she never said Robinson Peete was “too ghetto” to be on the show.
As of now, “The Talk” is scheduled to return Wednesday.
