While Brie and Nikki have been busy expanding their families in 2020, WNZ has an update below the Bella Twins WWE return to the ring.

Any fans out there that miss Nikki and Brie Bella? Both Bella Twins have made it crystal-clear that they do want to return to action at some point. Especially since WWE introduced Women’s Tag titles in 2019.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Radio, the Twins are currently working towards an in-ring return.

Coming Soon …

As per Meltzer’s report, their return will not happen immediately; however, the Bella Twins are looking at coming back in-and-around the fall.

If any fans follow the Twins on social media, it’s clear they are working hard to get back into shape. Plus, they seem to be “training” for a return to the squared circle. Still, it’s important to note that Nikki’s neck issues were the reason she stepped back for competition.

Here’s hoping that all can be resolved before her WWE comeback.

Over to the land of NXT, the black and yellow brand has come up with an interesting new match concept. In fact, the NXT Gaunlet Eliminator Battle Royal bout is set to determine who will face Johnny Gargano at the next TakeOver.

But, what exactly is the match all about? More details, below!

Plus, the six remaining superstars will get a chance to compete in the Gauntlet Eliminator bout that takes place during TakeOver: Stand & Deliver’s first night.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio recently broke the concept of the match down.

Meltzer noted that this match is very different from anything the company has done in the past. It’s unlike the typical gauntlet bouts where two talents start, and one wins, and then another superstar comes out.

He went on to state that in the Gauntlet Eliminator Battle Royal, superstars are coming out every two to three minutes.

The “elimination” component is not like a typical battle royal where wrestlers are thrown off the top rope. Rather, talent is eliminated by submission or pin in this match.

The Concept Is Simple, Really

While the match may sound complicated, Dave relayed that the concept is quite simple. Two superstars start, and added wrestlers come into the match (like a battle royal), every few minutes.

However, to eliminate them, they must pin or submit to other opponents.

It’s important to note that the six remaining athletes from this coming week’s NXT Gauntlet Eliminator Battle Royal will move on to “night one” of TakeOver: Stand & Deliver.

Whoever wins the gauntlet eliminator match from that night will move on to night two. That’s when said superstar will face Johnny Gargano for the NXT North American Championship.

Should be interesting to see how this match is received. Depending on fan reaction, there may be more Gauntlet Eliminator Battle Royal matches to come.
