Texas Mom Tackles Peeping Tom After He Evades The Police (VIDEO)

Don’t mess with Texas moms! A Lake Jackson mother was not about to allow a peeping Tom get away after he was seen looking into her 15-year-old daughter’s bedroom window. When he got past the police, she tackled him in legendary fashion, slamming him to the ground.

A police dash cam captured the video of this surprising tackle that would have even made some NFL players proud.

This mama bear tapped into her fierce mode and the video should put all perverts on notice.

Even if you get past the police, you might get slammed to the ground by a Texas mom.

Tackle Heard Around Texas

“First instinct was just to make sure he didn’t go any further,” Phyllis Pena said about her tackle and sudden internet fame.

This all went down on January 31st at 7 am. Pena returned from the store to see a man in her yard peeking into her teen daughter’s window.

The girl was not in her room at that moment but Pena was not about to allow this to go further.

Nineteen-year-old Zane Hawkins tried to flee as police were called.

Cops quickly found him, but the alleged peeping Tom took off again.

Hawkins might have thought he had it made after getting past the police, but he shouldn’t have discounted this Texas mom.

She slammed him to the ground then her daughter held the suspect down until police could take control of the situation.

“The cop fist-bumped me and he was like, ‘Hey, so I heard the Texans are looking for a new linebacker,’” Pena said. “My kids are my life, and just making sure I protect them.”

NFL Reaction To Peeping Tom Tackle

Pena has gotten applause from NFL players about this tackle heard around the Lone Star State.

Texans linebacker Dylan Cole tweeted, “Needs to keep her head across his chest on contact so he doesn’t fall forward for the YAC, but other than that an outstanding form tackle.”

Multiple NFL players liked Cole’s tweet below.

Hawkins is facing facing charges of possession of a controlled substance, evading arrest, and resisting arrest. More charges might be added.
