Queen Elizabeth is upstaging Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey. In a classic checkmate move, Her Majesty is preempting the interview debut by a television broadcast of her own to be shown earlier in the day on March 7.

Much of the recent drama within the Royal Family began in large part because of Meghan and Harry’s interview with Oprah.

The Royal Family doesn’t want their dirty laundry aired and that appears to be what the couple are about to do.

The Queen has stripped the Duke and Duchess of Sussex of their patronage roles and honorary titles. And, Prince Harry no longer has his beloved royal military titles.

To include the latest happenings, Oprah may have to reshoot the interview with the Sussexes.

Oprah Interview Airs On March 7th

Meghan and Harry’s interview will air March 7. The Queen now suddenly has a television broadcast the day before.

She has suddenly decided to have her annual message to coincide with her grandson’s public spilling of the family tea.

The Celebration For Commonwealth Day speech will be recorded at Windsor Castle.

Prince Charles and Prince William both support the Queen’s move to upstage her ginger-headed grandson and his Hollywood actress wife.

This should serve as an important reminder to Meghan that she is not the Queen. Her majesty will have the upper hand.

The clash between the Queen’s BBC statement and the Sussexes’ multi-million dollar CBS interview has extra significance because last year’s Commonwealth Service was when the couple bowed out as working royals, and when they were last seen in public with Harry’s grandmother, father and brother.

It is not yet known how or when UK viewers will see the full Oprah interview, with TV companies already locked in an international bidding war for the rights to the programme. ITV are understood to be in the driving seat in Britain with a UK deal expected in the coming days, although ViacomCBS are yet to comment.

Oprah Winfrey spent two days with Harry and Meghan. This tea-spilling interview is now missing some key details regarding Prince Philip’s health problems and Queen Elizabeth’s recent actions towards the couple.

Harry And Meghan Stunned By Queen’s Decision To Revoke Titles

It is reported that Harry and Meghan are stunned by the Queen’s decision revoking their royal patronage roles.

It is possible the talk show guru might have to return and film an update with their reactions before the interview airs.

Meghan is also expected to speak about her own personal family feud with her sister and father. Meghan recently won a summary judgement regarding a letter she wrote to her father that was published. It was deemed a personal and private letter.

The actress has numerous family conflicts of her own before she created them with her husband’s family.

Harry and Meghan don’t appear to have concern over the timing of their interview with Prince Philip’s hospital stay.

The 99-year-old Duke of Edinburgh became hospitalized since last week.

While the family patriarch battles health problems, he will have the added stress of his grandson publicly talking about family feuds.

Visiting The UK?

Harry has been planning to attend Trooping the Colour in June as well as the unveiling of a statue in memory of Princess Diana at Kensington Palace. It was recently reported that Meghan wouldn’t be joining him.

However, an insider has now claimed that the Sussexes are hoping to return to the UK next summer in time for the Queen’s platinum jubilee celebrating her 70-year reign. It would be a four-day public holiday between June 2-5, 2022.

With the turmoil of late, it will be interesting to see if Harry travels to the UK this year and what the future holds especially since Meghan is pregnant with their second child.
