Meghan Markle Prince Harry no regrets Megxit Netflix Spotify

It’s been one year since Meghan Markle And Prince Harry changed the Royal Family forever by stepping down as senior royals. Now, those closest to the Duke and Duchess report the couple has no regrets.

Meghan And Harry Have No Regrets

“Meghan and Harry took a huge leap of faith to embark on their new life,” a source close to Harry and Meghan told People Magazine.

Royal historian Robert Lacey explained that Harry felt marginalized as the “spare” in the line of succession. Harry was, of course, behind his brother Prince William in the line of succession.

Lacey says that Harry “finally found a solution” with Megxit. Which is “essentially to get out and start a new life.”  By doing so, Lacey suggests Harry has “asserted his own identity.”

This “progressive new role” involved the couple earning their own income.

“It was always their dream to be financially independent and pay their own way,” the source explained.

Of course, the couple faced blowback last year when the public found out their idea of financial independence involved daddy footing the bill.

But the couple has since scored lucrative deals with big names in entertainment like Netflix, Spotify, and more.

2020 Was A Big Year For Harry And Meghan

“The year started out with a lot of excitement and anticipation,” another source close to Harry added. “Harry was finally doing what he’d wanted to do for years, and to have Meghan and [19-month-old son] Archie with him was all he could have asked for.”

After stepping down from their role as senior royals, Harry and Meghan moved across the world to California. There they settled in the ritzy area of Montecito.

Now the couple was free to make good on former actress Meghan Markle’s Hollywood aspirations. So they wasted little time in signing deals with Netflix and Spotify to create content that will undoubtedly be as “woke” and leftwing as possible.

“Despite everything that has been going on this year, they don’t regret their move to the U.S.,” said an insider. “They love that they are able to focus on projects and causes that are important to them.”

‘Intense’ Rift Between William And Harry Starts To Heal

Another source told US Weekly that the rift that former between William and Harry after Megxit may have been even worse than the public realized.

“William and Harry’s fallout was very real, very ugly and incredibly intense,” the insider said. “They’d reached an impasse, there was so much mud under the bridge and a lot of people felt their feud was beyond repair.”

Thankfully, things seem to have gotten better between the brothers as of late. Their progress brings relief to the Royal Family.

“It’s certainly been a roller-coaster for everyone involved, especially the brothers, who are vowing not to let things get this out of hand in the future and have learned a lot from this difficult experience,” the insider said.

Before adding, there’s been “a lot of rejoicing” from family, including Queen Elizabeth, as the two brothers have started to reconcile.

Goodness knows we can all use some good news and joy in our lives. 2020 was a tough year.

So going into 2021, we hope that the Royal Family can continue to heal and become close again. We may not agree with Harry and Meghan politically all of the time, but it’s never fun to see a family at war with one another.
