Rose McGowan Defends Matthew McConaughey For Calling Out Liberal Hypocrisy – ‘Hollywood Has Been Condescending’

Earlier this week, we reported that the A-list actor Matthew McConaughey had called out Hollywood liberals for their hypocrisy, and for their condescending attitude towards conservative. Now, former “Charmed” star Rose McGowan is speaking out to back up Matthew McConaughey and express her disgust with the patronizing liberal elites of the entertainment world.

McConaughey spoke out against Hollywood liberals while appearing on Russell Brand’s podcast, “Under the Skin.”

“There are a lot of people on that illiberal left that absolutely condescend, patronize and are arrogant toward the other 50%,” McGonaughey said.

Rose McGowan Backs Up Matthew McConaughey

After McGowan heard McConaughey’s remarks, she took to Twitter to show her support for the Academy Award winner.

“Matthew McConaughey is right,” McGowan wrote. “Hollywood has been condescending, northern elite media liberals, too & it trickles down. Far before Trump presidency illiberal condescension & patronization has formed how too many think. Break the class structure.”

Rose McGowan Slaps Down Hillary Clinton

Though McGowan is not a conservative herself, she has become increasingly vocal this year in speaking out against the liberal hypocrites of Hollywood.

Back in October, she dared to blast Hillary Clinton, who is practically a saint in the eyes of Hollywood leftists.

“It’s my birthday. Here’s my one wish: that you reach out to one person in your life who may not vote this year and encourage them to turn out for Biden-Harris. All of us have more power than we know,” Clinton had tweeted.

McGowan sent liberal heads spinning with her blistering response.

“We have more power than YOU @HillaryClinton,” McGowan fired back. “We will not be silenced by you and your monsters. You campaign for rapists & line your pockets with pedophiles.”

Matthew McConaughey Rips Cancel Culture

McConaughey is another star who has become more outspoken against the radical left. The native Texan recently spoke out to slam leftwing cancel culture in an interview with Fox News.

“Right now we are invalidating people, illegitimizing people…because of an affiliation they may have or a picture that they may have of them shaking a dog on a hand with somebody we don’t agree with politically or denominationally,” McConaughey said, adding that “a lot of that is going too far.”

He’s right. Cancel culture has gone way too far. And it’s time more individuals with national platforms like McConaughey speak out against the dangerous movement.

The Dallas Buyer’s Club star made it clear that he is disturbed by the political landscape right now, and he feels it is time to rethink it critically.

“I think a lot of people are going, ‘It’s a time to redefine, to redeclare what politics is. What is the purpose of politics?’ That’s a real question that I think politicians and politics needs to answer,” McConaughey said. “What is its purpose? I want to know that answer and understand that answer first before I would really sort of be interested in hopping in politics.”

We may not agree with McConaughey and McGowan on everything, given the fact that they have both expressed liberal views in the past, but that’s okay!

We applaud them for having the courage to speak out against cancel culture and the radical liberal elites of Hollywood. The ones seemingly hell bent on destroying our culture and silencing millions of conservative voices.

If we had more celebrities like Matthew McConaughey and Rose McGowan, Hollywood would be a much better place!

James Conrad

James Conrad’s passion for politics is only overshadowed by his longstanding interest in Hollywood. His unique perspective as a gay conservative fuels him to challenge celebrity views and those who think they have a right to tell anyone how to think or vote. James proudly wields his minority point of view to combat identity politics and cut through his typecast. Fun fact: James’ guilty pleasure is the British royal family.
