Shock jock and radio host Howard Stern spoke out this week to praise pop megastar Taylor Swift for using her platform to voice her personal politics and liberal views.
Howard Stern Praises Taylor Swift For Preaching About Politics
Many Americans are sick and tired of the lengthy list of liberal celebrities who are constantly preaching about politics.
Yet Stern chose to applaud Swift for doing just that. And also turned it into any opportunity to attack celebrities who don’t speak out about politics.
“Celebrities who won’t say who they’re voting for because they don’t want to piss off their public — f*** you too!” Stern said, according to Yahoo News.
“Like Taylor Swift, good for her. She has like 83 million followers and she came out and said who she’s voting for and I’m like good, that’s standing up for your country.”

Taylor Swift Embraces Politics
Swift spent years being one of the few stars who stayed silent about politics and remained politically neutral in public. Something that many of her fans found refreshing.
Unfortunately, in 2018, Swift “came out” as a Democrat.
Since then, the “Shake It Off” singer has trashed President Donald Trump many times. Adding herself to the list of radically leftwing Trump-hating entertainers.
Stern was referring to the voting PSA that Swift posted earlier in the day on Monday encouraging her fans to get out and vote.
Though she did not mention a candidate by name, Taylor Swift officially endorsed Joe Biden last month.
So it was clear that she was really just telling her fans who are leftists to vote.
“Hey, so we are all very stressed out about this election, rightfully so. I feel you,” Swift said in the video.
“But allow me to be the one-millionth person to remind you that tomorrow is your last chance to make your voice heard and to make your vote count so if you haven’t voted yet, please do.”
The singer-songwriter finished with, “Stay safe, wear a mask, take care of yourselves. I love you very much. Happy voting.”

Howard Stern Doubles Down
Despite the fact that liberal stars like Swift seem to preach about politics like it’s their job these days, Stern still acted like this move by the singer was somehow groundbreaking and risky for her.
“I’m sure her handlers were telling her ‘Don’t say anything, you’ll make people angry. You don’t want to be like the Dixie Chicks and be political,” said Stern, referring to the Biden-supporting band. “F*** that! Be like the Dixie Chicks.”
Given the fact that Swift has endorsed a Democrat, her handlers likely didn’t care.
What really would have been risky for her career would have been her endorsing Trump, as this would have undoubtedly gotten her blacklisted by much of the entertainment industry.
We doubt Howard Stern would be singing Taylor Swift’s praises for speaking out about politics as a celebrity if she was a Trump voter.
The hypocrisy of the left never ceases to amaze.
