Days after the mainstream media called the 2020 presidential election for Joe Biden, former “Dirty Jobs” host Mike Rowe has spoken out to reveal what he would say to the ex-vice president right now.
Rowe is known as a man of the American people. The popular reality host just took time on his Facebook Watch show “Returning the Favor” to honor American Veterans.
The special Veterans Day episode featured Dan Waite’s Operation ReBoot Outdoors which helps veterans suffering from PTSD. The operation uses nature – hunting, fishing, camping, and more – as a form of therapy.
“As I started doing ‘Dirty Jobs,’ we began to feature more and more veterans on the show,” Rowe said. “Somebody’s got to do it. I was reminded every time that they are the tip of the spear. Every freedom I have, every nice thing I enjoy is made possible by a veteran. So when it came time to film ‘Returning the Favor,’ I was at a point in my career where we were able to specifically focus on the people that are most important to me. Well, the vets are right on top.”
Amen.
The 58-year-old Maryland native turned his attention to the hot button topic of the 2020 election after Veterans Day.
Rowe explained that if he were to sit down with Biden, he would want to know if the apparent president-elect has any questions for him.
“If he did, I’d give him the best answer I could, but I wouldn’t presume to tell Joe Biden or Donald Trump or any elected official anything that they didn’t want to hear,” Rowe told Fox News.
“Now, if he invited me and said, ‘What do you think we can do for our country to make a huge and affirmative difference to a large number of people?’” the television personality added.
“I would say, ‘We need to treat vocational skills differently. We need to treat vocational education differently.’”

Fans of Rowe know that he’s long been an advocate for blue collar workers.
If he were to meet with Biden, he added that he would make a plan with him to go about “vocational education differently.”
“[I would tell Joe Biden] we need to treat vocational education differently,” the 58 year-old explained. “I might say, ‘Hey, we have $1.6 trillion in student loans on the books, and we’re still encouraging more people to go get a four-year degree, but require training.’”
“I might say that we should stop lending money,” Rowe continued. “We don’t have to lend money to kids who can’t pay it back to train them for jobs that don’t exist anymore. I might have that kind of conversation with him, assuming he wanted to have it.”

Rowe became famous through his reality show “Dirty Jobs,” which highlighted American professions that many might see as strange or unusual.
After Donald Trump was elected president in 2016, Rowe wrote a viral Facebook comparing the Republican to “Dirty Jobs.”
“But here’s the thing – ‘Dirty Jobs’ didn’t resonate because the host was incredibly charming,” he wrote. “It wasn’t a hit because it was gross, or irreverent, or funny, or silly, or smart, or terribly clever. ‘Dirty Jobs’ succeeded because it was authentic. It spoke directly and candidly to a big chunk of the country that non-fiction networks had been completely ignoring.”
“In a very simple way, ‘Dirty Jobs’ said ‘Hey – we can see you,’ to millions of regular people who had started to feel invisible,” Rowe continued. “Ultimately, that’s why ‘Dirty Jobs’ ran for eight seasons. And today, that’s also why Donald Trump is the President of the United States.”
Rowe is a true American patriot who has a good head on his shoulders.
If Biden really is bound for the White House, we might all be better off if he took some time to meet with the “Dirty Jobs” expert, Mike Rowe.
