Barbie Black Lives Matter

Barbie has had a lot of transformations throughout the years, but the latest one might be the most dramatic. The plastic doll has gone full on “woke” and is promoting Black Lives Matter in her recent Vlog.

The doll began its decades-long run as a favorite American toy in 1959. The brand has changed significantly over the years to adjust to current trends. Barbie went digital with her first vlog in 2015. And, now she is dispensing political advice online, likely without many parents even knowing it is happening.

Barbie Discusses Systemic Racism

In the video “Barbie and Nikki Discuss Racism,” the pair talk about systemic racism and the Black Lives Matter Movement. At just under three minutes, it’s a quick dose of indoctrination that many parents might miss.

Barbie’s discussion on racism is done in simple terms that target young, impressionable minds. Defunding the police and the riots are not mentioned at all.

“There is a huge movement going on,” the blonde Barbie says. “Millions of people across the world are standing up to fight against racism, and they’re doing this because too often and for such a long time, people have been treated unfairly, and in some cases even hurt by others, because of the color of their skin.”

Then, Nikki gives examples of how she deals with racism regularly. A teacher dismissed her great grade on a French exam as luck and this was a massive injustice to the pair.

Social Justice Indoctrination

She also mentions that she was discriminated against and accosted by security while having a sticker selling contest with Barbie. From this short video, a child could assume that everyone is a racist.

“Barbie and I had a sticker-selling contest on the beach last month,” Nikki says. “We split up and went our separate directions to see who could sell the most. While I was on the boardwalk, beach security stopped me three times. The security officer thought I was doing something bad, even though I was doing exactly the same thing that you were doing.”

This could have an effect on impressionable young ears that get bombarded by social justice agendas at school and online. If Barbie is talking about it, many will believe it is just true without questioning anything.

This underscores the importance of monitoring what kids are watching and playing with. Many parents likely suspect Barbie is innocent. However, this should make them do a double take.
