The Reason Why Andrade Is Still A Free Agent, Was Not Drafted

Major WWE superstar Andrade was not drafted, leaving him a free agent. Now, reporters and fans speculate about the reasons why he was left out.

There could be several reasons why Andrade was not drafted and is now a free agent. Here are the possible explanations.

Andrade Could Return To NXT

Some reporters speculate Andrade will return to NXT. Now, that theory could hold water.

Since NXT currently faces numerous injuries, programming is less than perfect.

A former champion such as Andrade  could revitalize NXT. However, it could be a step back for the former champion.

Strangely enough, Andrade’s manager Zelina Vega was drafted. This leaves a huge question mark on Andrade’s future on the main roster.

Alternative Theories

There are some other theories why Andrade did not make the draft. One of these theories has to do with Vince McMahon.

Some claim that Andrade missed the draft because Vince might release him. In other words, Vince McMahon does not see Andrade as a star.

If this is accurate, let’s hope he will end up on NXT because Andrade leaving the WWE would be a huge loss for the company.

Despite his success in NXT, Andrade currently seems lost on the main roster. It almost seems like the WWE doesn’t know what to do with him.

Of course, he is not the only NXT call-up to suffer such a fate. Countless other stars were called up to the main roster only to be released.

Both theories about the draft could be accurate at this point. It was only yesterday that Angel Garza completely destroyed Andrade.

To make matters worse, Andrade and Zelina were then attacked by The Fiend and Alexa Bliss. While Zelina is heading to SmackDown, the future for Andrade is still unclear.

Other Stars Who Are Still Free Agents

Andrade is not the only superstar who currently finds himself a “free agent.” Superstars Mickie James and Chad Gable are also free agents.

It is also interesting to know that some superstars were not even included in the draft pool. Superstars who were left out of the draft include The Forgotten Sons, The Undertaker, Jinder Mahal, Sonya Deville, and more.

Out of all the free agents, Andrade and Mickie James are the most surprising. And, Chad Gable too to a certain extent.

Chad Gable is a very talented wrestler, but has been left on the bench for quite some time. After a series of failed gimmicks, his main roster career is almost over.

That being said, it is never too late to revitalize his career. Just look at what happened to Apollo Crews in recent months.

The WWE’s roster was reduced in size with the mass releases, and it is far from perfect. Some major stars are still left on the sidelines.

In the coming weeks, we should get a better idea of the reason why Andrade was left out. Considering his talent in the ring, it is difficult to imagine the WWE is considering his release.

We will keep an eye on the situation as it develops.
