Former WWE diva Nikki Bella was shocked when she found herself at the center of a political debate this week after promoting a new book by her friend who wrote about none other than WWE legend turned Hollywood A-lister Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

Bella took to Instagram to promote a photography book by her friend Hiram Garcia.
John Cena’s Ex thought the post was harmless enough.
So she was stunned to find herself being hit with backlash from supporters of Donald Trump because the book featured photos of Jumanji star and WWE legend The Rock, who recently endorsed Joe Biden.
Enraged Fans Call For Boycott
While appearing on her twin sister twin sister Brie Bella’s podcast, Nikki talked about her surprise that this took a political turn, and revealed why she promoted the book in the first place.
“We know as authors…how much work you put into making your first book; to any book you have, and the minute you get your first book published and it hit shelves, how proud you are,” she explained, according to US Weekly. “You’re just so excited; it’s a huge accomplishment. So when I got his in the mail, I just remember that feeling when we dropped ‘Incomparable.'”
It didn’t take long for the backlash to begin, with Trump supporters calling for a “boycott” of Bella’s merchandise.
“Then I looked at social media and all of a sudden I was like, ‘What the f–k?’ I’m like, how did this turn into a political debate?” she recalled. “First of all, that never crossed my mind. Not once.”
Nikki Bella added that her post about the book had absolutely nothing to do with The Rock endorsing Joe Biden.
“It sucks that you can support someone—support a friend and their amazing accomplishment—and how it turns into negativity and you get this backlash and it turns into something so political,” she lamented.

Nikki Bella Refuses To Delete Post With The Rock Book
Despite the backlash she received, Nikki Bella defiantly said that she would not be deleting the post.
“There’s no winning talking about politics, unfortunately,” she said.
Bella concluded by urging her fans to be open minded to those who have different opinions than they do.
“Nikki Bella’s account, this is all about positivity, love and light. I embrace everyone’s beliefs because I was raised to believe—and I learned on my own—that everyone is gonna have different opinions and beliefs,” she said. “That’s what makes the world go ’round. We’re all never oing to think the same.”
It’s typically liberals who are lashing out on social media, but in this case it’s definitely the other way around.
WWE has a lot of conservative fans here in America. So they didn’t take kindly to Nikki Bella giving the Rock publicity after his recent Biden endorsement.
It’s unfortunate that things have become so hyperpartisan and politicized. You see calls to boycott coming from the left and right.
Politics seem to have invaded every facet of our lives – our families, friendships, schools, and certainly entertainment.
Nikki Bella promoted a book written by her friend. It’s possible that she and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson are friends.
Politics shouldn’t come between friends. And we shouldn’t someone chastise for not allowing politics to come between them.
Nikki Bella was obviously not trying to send a political message here. So let’s not make this something that it’s not.
