Ken Shamrock is getting inducted into the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame and The Rock has a special gift. Also, NXT’s Tegan Nox and Bobby Fish have suffered injuries.
Impact Wrestling will be inducting Ken Shamrock into this year’s Hall of Fame. After Shamrock reached out to The Rock, he replied he will send content.
For now, no other information has been released. Based off The Rock’s remarks, he will be sending something digitally that Impact Wrestling can use.
The Rock doing the favor for Shamrock may or may not upset WWE. While they never like their stars addressing the competition, they might not care.
To start, Impact Wrestling is no longer a threat to WWE. Meanwhile, and more importantly, WWE is unlikely to give The Rock any trouble.
The Rock is one of the greatest stars of any generation. Therefore, WWE might not care about a video being sent over.
Shamrock noted how he considers working with The Rock the best time of his WWE run. Specifically, they battled over the Intercontinental Championship.
In other words, The Rock is doing a cool gesture for Shamrock. He does not have to, but that is not the kind of person he is.
It looks two of the bigger stars in NXT have suffered injuries. Tegan Nox and Bobby Fish did not work NXT TV on Wednesday and injuries seem to be the reason.
First, let’s get to Tegan Nox, who was booked in the women’s battle royal to crown a No. 1 contender. In a backstage segment, she was attacked by her former friend Candice LeRae.
Those two women have been feuding for months. Based off some recent segments, they were headed for a lengthy feud.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter mentioned how some believe Nox suffered a legit injury. Therefore, WWE filmed the angle with LeRae to write her out of storylines.
If this is true, it is another huge setback for Nox. As a result, her major push to win Mae Young Classic was suddenly over.
Although, she did not win after injuring her knee and being removed. This was her second major knee injury, after having damage done when she was child.
WWE will likely provide an update sometime next week. Whenever Nox starts to build momentum, she consistently gets hits with another roadblock at the worst time possible.
In the main event of NXT, Kyle O’Reilly secured the win and upcoming title shot at Takeover. Adam Cole and Roderick Strong celebrated his win, but Fish was missing.
Apparently, Fish suffered a “minor knee injury training kickboxing and BJJ.” He is not expected to much time.
In fact, there is a good possibility he returns on this Wednesday’s episode. The nice thing about the Undisputed Era is the stable works, even without one of the members.
Neither Nox or Fish are believed to have tested positive COVID-19. Although, many NXT and developmental superstars recently tested positive.
In conclusion, it sounds like WWE is dealing with two completely different injuries. Fish seems to be headed back soon, but Nox could be looking at a long road to recovery.
