UFC Vegas 7 Weigh-in Results: Edgar vs. Munhoz is Official

It’s taken longer than expected to get Frankie Edgar to his bantamweight debut. But, following the weigh-ins for UFC Vegas 7, the former lightweight champ’s fight with Pedro Munhoz is a go.

Edgar (23-8) was supposed to make his 135-pound debut this past January against Cory Sandhagen. But the star elected to fight featherweight Chan Sung Jung in December first, and was stopped by the contender.

Munhoz (18-4), meanwhile, is coming off a decision loss to Aljamain Sterling in June, 2019. The veteran was scheduled to fight Edgar in July of this year, but Munhoz tested positive for COVID-19 and the fight was postponed.

Munhoz tipped the scales at 136 pounds for Saturday’s main event, and Edgar was 135.

The latter is now fighting Dwight Grant, who was supposed to fight Calen Born, but the fighter reportedly withdrew from the card due to personal reasons.

**Jones missed the 140-pound catchweight limit on his first attempt at 140.5 pounds, but made weight on his second try.
